Hotel in Ollantaytambo
Located in Ollantaytambo, 11 miles from Bus Station, Inka's Haven Hotel provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The front desk person speaks really good English. Way way better than any other places I’ve stayed that tells me they speak little English. Was able to give me information on a lot things. Was missing hair dryer just needed to ask the front for one. Location easy to find and steps away from the ruin entrance. Hot water comes out in 30 secs with good pressure. The night could be a little cold like any other places in Peru I’ve stayed so far. Had the option for scrambled eggs which was nice.

Located in Ollantaytambo, 13 miles from Bus Station, Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The location is just breathtaking. Accommodations are comfortable, especially the beds but at the same time is nice the feeling of living in a tent (although a very comfy one!). All the food is locally sourced and service is impeccable. Overall I deeply appreciated the stress on sustainability and the fact that they employ local people to contribute to the local economy.

A blend of traditional architecture and contemporary interiors, this boutique hotel is framed by charming flowered gardens and an Andes Mountain backdrop. It is a 90-minute drive from downtown Cuzco. Great find in quiet neighborhood. The rooms, breakfast and owners are wonderful. They let us park our motorcycles here while we went to Machu Picchu. Gladys picked herbs to make us some herbal tea when we weren’t feeling well. They have laundry service. They are helpful when it comes to tours or anything you may need. This is a great find
Hotel in Urubamba
Aranwa is set on a 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.
Hotel in Urubamba
Built against a mountainside and located in an 18th-century building, this hotel features cozy modern accommodations set around a colorful courtyard. It is located in the magical Sacred Valley. It is my second stay at La Casona de Yucay, and my third visit there in 2023 (after 2 nights in 2018 and 2022 just visiting the place). Its location is very good, the rooms nice with big windows, clean and cozy. All staff are wonderful people, always very helpful and making you feel 'at home'. We stayed for 10 nights in total (3 nights and 7 nights) as we were hiking, resting, online working. I also has its very own charm with its architecture and beautiful gardens. We always moved in the micro buses to Urubamba or other places in the valley. I loved staying at Casona de Yucay, it is a magical place. I will come back.

Absolute gem of a hotel! The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help you. The hotel is modern and the room was spacious and clean with a really modern and powerful shower. The breakfast on the top floor was one of the best we have had in Peru! White linen table cloths, fresh fruit, breads and eggs made upon request and served to you at your table- a million miles from the usual buffet service served by other hotels. Absolutely recommend, a short taxi from Urubamba, Moras and Moray- perfect base for Sacred Valley stay.
Ollantaytambo
Very good location, with the entrance to the ruin being one minute away. The market is just outside the door. Very nice staff: Owner Mihail and his wife Ruth were extremely nice. Mihail helped carrying one (of the bigger one) of our two suitcases on the cobble stoned road (and he actually offered to help carrying both of the suitcases). He gave us very good advises on touring the ruins and the sacred valley. Good breakfast: Ruth made very good breakfast each morning. The room was spacious and very quite.
Beautiful location by the fast flowering river in the Center of the sacred valley. The hotel is set around and ancient hacienda with multiple courtyards, terraces and a museum and cinema. The gardens are perfection, the pool, lakes and island chapel all lovely. The spa is world class and the chef worthy of international recognition. And the staff……. In our experience Peruvians are the warmest and most welcoming of people and it seemed that the best of those traits were in abundance here.
First of all, Marcela (the receptionist/host) is absolutely amazing! She is super knowledgeable and helpful, she gave us many recommendation in the town and gave directions on how to get to the other towns on collectivos for a couple of soles. Thanks to Marcela, we saved a lot of money on transportation in the Sacred Valley. Also, the hotel has stunning views from the terrace/rooftop. Beds are really comfortable, the bathroom is spacious enough for a comfortable stay.
The location of this beautiful hotel is great. Waking up on the morning and see the Ollantaytambo arqueological site from your window is priceless. Breakfast was really good. Love the fact that the hotel is focus on sustainability and supporting local artist and vendors. Everything speaks Sacred Valley and involving in a conversation with the owner you will get amazed of how many stories the hotel and every single piece of the decoration have. Definitely recommend!
Ollantaytambo
The host was very really helpful and friendly, she organised our transfer from Cusco to Ollantaytambo which allowed us to fully explore the important sites in the Sacred Valley on the way which was spectacular which you wouldn't see if you took the train from Cusco. The view from the top terrace in the house is unbelievable, huge mountains with Mayan rock carvings are all around you, its one of the most spectacular views from a hotel I have ever seen.
Ollantaytambo
This is the best hotel in the Sacred Valley, such a magical place! Noemi and her family are the most welcoming, helpful and kind hosts! The hotel is small and has a family vibe. Every time I was coming back, I had a feeling I was coming home. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The rooms are huge and super comfortable. The views from the hotel are incredible! I regretted booking only for 3 nights. I can't wait to visit again!
Urubamba
I travel to the Sacred Valley frequently. Well, that’s not entirely true. I travel to the Sacred Valley of Cusco all the time! I’ve stayed in just about every major hotel - including the top ranked places. Posada Tres Marias is not a luxury destination - but it easily ranks up with the very best! Clean. Dependable. Safe. Convenient. Super friendly staff. Best of all - an AMAZING price point. Do yourself a favor, stay here!
We have traveled a lot with our family of 5. This was be far the best hotel we have ever stayed at for kids. We have a 5, 3, and 1 year old and the staff and amenities were amazing. We enjoyed the trampolines, Alpacas, outdoor seating areas, flowers, and the restaurant. Food was great and I had a lot of fun doing the onsite cooking classes. Great location for exploring all of the Sacred Valley sites.
Quaint cabins on a beautiful compound. It's located near enough the center of town to be convenient bur far enough to be quiet. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The room included a mini fridge and a kitchen sink, which is a nice touch. I would absolutely recommend this hotel (and Urubamba, which is highly underrated as a base to explore the Sacred Valley as well as an alternative to Cuzco)
Pisac
Convenient location; charmingly old building but with good plumbing and an effective heater in the room; excellent breakfast with a good in-hotel restaurant and a lovely atrium; very helpful staff; etc. – this was one of my favorite places I stayed in in Sacred Valley and I'd definitely stay there again. I also really enjoyed hiking around the Incan ruins nearby, among other things.
A beautiful sanctuary in the Sacred Valley. We stayed for one night after the Salkantay Trek and felt completely relaxed and taken care of. All the food was incredible, particularly breakfast, and the cocktails were delicious. The staff were very attentive. Our 'tent' was quiet, comfortable and beautifully designed, we loved sitting out in the morning with the alpaca blankets!
The hotel is exceptional. The grounds, location, comfort, and hospitality of the staff were above and beyond. We especially liked the hike to the Salineras de Maras and walking around Urubamba. The food was tasty and we even ate dinner outside near the firepit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Rio Sagrado to anyone looking to stay in the Sacred Valley.
Ollantaytambo
Fantastic location near the main area. Erica & Jamal (I think I miss spelled it) were both so helpful in helping us connect with a private tour guide/driver for Sacred Valley. They stored our luggage & the driver picked them up from the hotel & met us at the train station upon our return from Aquas Calliente & drove us to Cusco. Breakfast was good.
Urubamba
Beautiful oasis in the sacred valley. Whole hotel felt so secluded and relaxed, with beautiful grounds. Rooms were large and cosy, with fireplaces and massive bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely each morning, dinner at the hotel was really top standard and staff were lovely. Plus all the profits go to supporting the school so you feel good for staying there!
Ollantaytambo
Great location, just one block from the main plaza, 1 block from the Inca archaeological site, and 4 blocks from the train station. Hosts were really nice and attentive, helped us putting together a tailor made tour to the sacred valley with a private driver. The room is small but enough, the bathroom is outdated but with hot water and really clean.
Urubamba
I loved the unique experience of a cliff side hotel experience. It was a one in a lifetime experience everyone should try if in Cusco/ Sacred Valley area! The hot tub was an extremely nice touch to disguise the fact that you are on a cliff! employees were friendly and fun! Food was served amazingly by the porters and friendly attitude.
Ollantaytambo
We loved our stay at Casa de la Chola. A beautiful hotel at a perfect location to visit the Sacred Valley. A beautiful garden, very nice and comfortable rooms. We would definitely come back when visiting this area. The host is also really helpful and friendly! He is also a very good cook. The diner was amazing!
Very laid-back hostel with amazing views of the sacred valley. Nice owner who even gave us a free room upgrade because he had availability. Cute dog which roams the premises. It’s social at night in the common areas where tasty food and a cold beer can be enjoyed together. We’d definitely stay again!
The hotel and grounds are amazing! A piece of paradise in the sacred valley!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pools, both indoor and outdoor are fabulous! I liked the sound of the optional activities, unfortunately most weren't able to be booked for a solo traveller.
