I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. I stayed 1 night here, it was really good and comfy. Jhony, who is owner here. he is very kind and welcoming. Bukit Lawang is small country side, so it is hard to expect high quality of facilities as like as cities. No AC but I couldn’t really feel it is hot because of fan. And he offered Jungle trekking guide as well. It was a bit pricey for guiding in this area but you might can get good prices if you negotiate with him. I saw wild orangutans and other monkeys! He has good knowledge about nature.

The location and staff is great. The room is large and clean and has a very nice balcony with a lot of space and a nice view. Bed is very comfortable. Wifi is fast and available everywhere in the room and balcony. Behind the bungalow is a very nice little quiet area where you can walk around.
