Short walk uphill to the Ghasso Village. Very accommodating English speaking staff. We tried the private onsen for 4000 Yen and it was fabulous! Very clean, big rooms with nice energy.

The nearest airport is Komatsu Airport, 47 km from the property. I spent 1 month travelling around Japan, and I can say it’s the BEST experience in my trip. I loved everything, the family’s hospitality , the room’s view breathtaking and the amazing food, which was delicately prepared with organic local ingredients , so delicious, the best meal in Japan, for sure. Besides, in the breakfast they surprise my friend singing happy birthday in Portuguese, a beautiful gesture and unforgettable. Thank you so much for all, your family is a great team!!!

Rooms with contemporary Japanese design are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and come with a private open-air bath. Also comes with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a seating area with low table. We absolutely loved everything about Mozumo! We were two couples travelling together, we stayed for one night and had dinner all together in one of the rooms. The rooms were very beautiful, in traditional style, comfortable, quiet, and the private onsen was incredible. As for the dinner, one of the best we've ever had. And the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Thumbs up to the lady that was serving our dinner, she was so kind, made us feel so welcome and cared for our every need. Overall, it's a 200% recommended experience!

Founded in 1860, Juhachiro is located along Nagara River and boasts indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths. The property is a 15-minute bus ride from Gifu Train Station. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, and free private parking is available on site. Nice experience in a high-end traditional Japanese hotel. We were the only western tourists. Very nice onsen with amazing "muddy bath". Delicious meals, very good buffet breakfast.

Guests can also get a relaxing massage, read in the library or purchase souvenirs at the gift shop. absolutely fantastic . we liked everything 😀 tatami as a bed isn’t made for us 😀 but that was our Choice to try it. except of this the whole ryokan , the staff the food is just the best . thank you !

Free WiFi is available at the lobby and guestrooms. This hotel was selected as one of the Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in Japan by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Award 2015. We loved our stay here. I cannot recommend this Ryokan enough - if you get the chance I promise you the price is so so worth it. The staff are so friendly, the food is AMAZING, the beds are comfortable, the onsen itself is so lovely and relaxing. This is just a wonderful cozy place to stay in Japan.
