Situated in Trang, 20 km from Trang Clock Tower, Kachonghills Tented Resort Trang features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Such a beautiful resort in a beautiful area! We were given a free upgrade to a fancier tent that overlooked the river. The room was clean, large, and the bed was sooo comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing and really went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you needed. The food was great, especially the breakfasts. This was a splurge on our backpacking trip and worth every penny!

Facing the beachfront, Mali Kradan offers 4-star accommodation in Koh Kradan and features a garden, restaurant and bar. The hotel also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. We stayed in one of the beautiful waterfront bungalows at the very end of the line (north) so it was even quieter than most. Amazing view, big comfortable room, great bed, good AC, friendly and helpful staff. They also arranged airport pickup in Trang and a longtail to the island. Free paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling gear were useful everyday. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant overall has good food and quite a bit of variety. We checked out all the other hotels during our stay and in our opinion Mali is the best. Some of the other resorts seem cheaper at first but only for the lower level rooms. If you want to stay in one of the nicer beachfront huts they all cost pretty close to the same.
