Conveniently located in the centre of Puebla, Hotel 5 de Mayo offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Great experience here. Staff is very professional as you would expect in a 4 star+ hotel. Price was an excellent value. Last minute booking, we canceled another place because we wanted this bigger room here. This met expectations. Room was very large, spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. Our room had a nice view toward a small Church (some rooms may not?). The immediate area 2-3 blocks looked a bit rough, but I took a walk in the morning and found some delightful small streets with a lot of impressive murals, a small park and it was very artsy. There may have been more I missed. Breakfast was a good portion, great. I would come here again for sure (we may even book again later in this trip on return to Puebla).

This was my first time at a Hilton Garden Inn, and it did not disappoint. The hotel is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Very luxurious and well worth the stay. I would absolutely stay at a Hilton Garden Inn again, and this was a great representation of the brand.

Casa Pepe is a restored 17th-century colonial mansion, situated 100 metres from Puebla’s main square and cathedral. The staff at check-in were excellent! They spoke English and helped me in many ways during my stay. One clerk checked prices and called a cab to take me to Cholula. Another figured out a way to charge my phone. They all showed excellent customer service skills.
