From the location in a quiet seaside town, to the hotel itself, the stay was wonderful. The room was tastefully decorated, the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the building is renovated in a modern style, while keeping its links to the past. The breakfast was really nice, particularly the croissants and homemade cakes. You can dine well in the hotel restaurant, and there are a few very nice restaurants in San Esteban, so also gastronomically nothing was lacking. There are really nice hikes to be had from San Esteban, and there were truly spectacular views along the route. Gran Hotel Brillante has already been marked as a place to return to, it was truly a pleasure to stay there.

Perfect for visiting the picos.. Breakfast was excellent, room huge staff very helpful, was happy at the way that the building was used with respect for its history and religious roots. A very nice administrator man , perhaps he is the owner of this hotel and restaurant. Yes, there is a restaurant at the hotel, it is closed on Tuesdays. But if we ever travel through northern Spain again, we will definitely stop here and try something. We were really surprised by their breakfast, I think they know how to cook well.

Hotel Villadesella is a typical Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 1.5 km from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. The hotel was delightful. We had a superior room with views over Ribadesella and to the mountains (despite the rain!!). Breakfast was lovely....fresh and well presented. We wanted to eat before hotel restaurant's opening time of 8.30 in the evening so went next door for bbq ribs and salad....very good!!

It is very lovely and quite city, the architecture is so nice. I went there to get to Picos the Europa, it was possible with buses of ALSA. I also went to see Costa Verde - beautiful natural beaches. Asturias is a very rich region, defenetly worth to see.

This is my favourite place in Oviedo. I have aready stayed there several times and I enjoyed each stay. The quietness and the decent luxury there are amazing. The old spa is my favourite of the bathing options available. Great breakfast, friendly personnel. I look forward to my next stay.

I loved absolutely everything!! It was one of the most exquisite breaks i have ever had. From the moment you enter the driveway and gasp at such breathtaking beauty that surrounds you. To the incredibly lovely humble and sincere staff. You are made to feel part of the family. The mouth watering breakfast and incredible dinner is so fresh and flavoursome you just cant stop indulging yourself. If you want tranquility and be amongst the majestic mountains and breath clean crisp air, then their is no other place like it. It really is the magic mountain hotel. And I can't wait to return. Thank you everyone.
