GO SAPA HOSTEL features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Sa Pa. We got there early, still dark, and were able to sleep in the comfy lobby chairs, which even have blankets. Then we got a free upgrade to a private room since he figured we are a couple. Sooooo nice! Everything was clean and the private rooms have really good amenities and views!!! It was pretty quiet (low season to be fair) and we personally were hoping for a bit more lively atmosphere in the restaurant or the common area (which is really nice with lots of games btw.).

Flaco Hostel Sapa is situated in Sa Pa, within 5.2 km of Fansipan Legend Cable Car Station and 1 km of Sa Pa Stone Church. What I like best about the property was the staff, they were really helpful and nice especially the GIRL STAFF that knew simple english but if she didn’t understood what we were saying she would translate it using her phone. SHE HAD EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. She even booked us a taxi or tuktok going to our next location. Just to give you a heads up, there is no Grab in Sapa unlike in Hanoi. The place was very convenient. It had an excellent LOCATION. Once you go out, there are a lot of restaurants outside, salon, spa, laundry etc… it’s a 10minute walk to the Sapa Center where all the excitement is happening but a long the way there are a lot of things to see. And it is also near the Sapa Market, but unfortunately we did not get a chance to go there. Hotel itself is CLEAN AND COZY 🩵🩵❄️ I was unsure in booking this place at first because it had a low rating in being “clean” but to my surprise it was SPOT ON CLEAN. They do have an electric kettle where we can heat water for our baby and there is a working heater in the bathroom and there is also a working room heater which is great for the cold weather. Do not underestimate the coldness in Sapa because it gets really cold.

The ladies were friendly and welcoming at the reception. Good location and clean. Good value. It is more like a hotel than their name Hostel. We enjoyed our stay.

Though it means that you have to walk 750m from the center every time you decide to go out as it was quite far from everyone. 2) The staff were nice! As we had to wait for the check-in time coz the room wasn’t available yet, they let us use the main bathroom to freshen up. 3) They arranged laundry service at an affordable price. We were also able to get the clothes on the same day.

The lady who owned the hostel was really lovely we communicated through google translate when we needed to. She had two cute kitties as well. The size of the room was a lot bigger than expected and we had a nice view. It was really good value for money.
