The hospitality and help were beyond any expectations! I arrived rather spontaneously for a 4-day trip through southern Jordan. Saif and Heather did magically organize a trip to the Wadi Rum desert with an unforgettable experience of staying over night at a desert camp (glamping), trying local foods, drinking some tea at the camp fire and watching the sun rise in the dunes. From here, they organized a shuttle to Petra (Treasury, Monastary,…) for a half day hike through history and back to Aqaba. I loved how personal the connections were (e.g. eating breakfast together and learning so much about the country and culture). The hostel itself was very clean and thoughtfully put together. I stayed in the “girls only” room. the bunk beds were very comfortable and the stairs were a pleasant change to the usual latter for the upper beds. All in all, I can highly recommend coming here. At no point during the time at the hostel or on the amazingly organized trip did I not feel safe.

On arrival the staff are extremely friendly, helping with bags, making sure you are settled in. Rushdi met us on arrival and was so helpful and easy to communicate with. He recommended a scuba tour and having never scuba dived before it was the perfect place to do it, and with a great price. He organised our transport to and from scuba and also our transport to the border when we were leaving. We asked for breakfast to be included every morning and this was no problem and we enjoyed breakfast down on the water. I mentioned to Rushdi I loved animals and he let me go with him to feed the street cats.. it was so nice. The place is very clean and the staff are very respectful.

Only 2 minutes’ walk from the beach of Eilat and several steps from the Mall Hayam shopping centre, Little Prince Hostel-5 Min Walk To The Beach offers air-conditioned rooms located in the very lively tourist area near the night clubs.

Such a comfortable bed! And AC was running strong when we arrived, which is critical in Eilat in July. Location was ideal for activities. We walked to a great dinner spot (Branja) followed by a stroll to the beach.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

This is a great place for backpackers. The location is just fantastic, just a kilometer away from Aqaba Gateway, and right opposite the local bus station. They have a balcony where you can dry your clothes, something not hostels have. You can also plan your water activities from this place, and tours as well. They also have a range of diving equipment you can use for free. The breakfast is really good as well.

Frankly, I advise all guests in this wonderful hostel. Very beautiful view, great location, the owner of the hostel and his son Abdullah. They help you with everything, a swim in the boat, and the Wadi Rum tour is the most amazing. The prices are cheap and the beach is beautiful. Thank you I will be back
