We had such a great experience here that we extended our stay from planned one to two nights. Room is new, spacious and spotless clean. Flushing toilet, hot shower, sink, chairs and table, clothes dryer and not to forget very comfortable bed. View over fields and Vulcano. Possibility to sit outside. You really get hotel comfort combined with staying with a lovely family that welcomes you with open arms and really good food. Totally recommended if you don’t want/need to stay in the busy city centre.

Kaesa and family should run a business to teach other host how to be hospitable because they have nailed it! What a wonderful family and so accommodating it makes a huge difference to how you feel about where you are staying. We are travelling by motorbike around Sumatra and this place offers get value for money. Room is clean and comfortable nice balcony. Upon arrival Kaesa provided a map of all the things to do around the area including where to eat etc. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The host family are incredible people. They make this place so special. They are so kind and helpful. They organised my sunrise volcano hike, a tour of the ghost town, and my (very) early morning car to the airport. They are excited to share everything they know about Berastagi, and their hospitality is 5 star. Also - they made me a vegan banana pancake and it was amazing!
