Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse & Jungle Trek is set in Bukit Lawang. This homestay offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Brian and Sarah were so lovely. They also went above and beyond with the service. They helped me arrange transport to Bukit Lawang and to Lake Toba. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is also an express laundry service too which is brilliant for after the trek if you need to leave the next day. The guides were also super friendly and everyone was very genuine and had a good sense of humour. Absolutely rate this place.

It is just great! The family makes you feel at home and nothing is too much to help you. I can really recommend staying here!

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

Excellent location with fantastic snorkeling right in front of the bungalows! The hospitality from the hosts was outstanding. We had an incredible time and felt very welcomed, wishing we could have stayed longer.

Set in Bukit Lawang, Sahnan Guest House has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, and organising tours for guests. If you want to have a good time and SEE ORANGUTANS this is the place, the team (we had two guides) knows the place like the palm of their hand, they split and search, thus, 2x chance to see orangs!! I consider this an unbeatable technique. While on our tour, we met some people that told us they saw 2 orangs in 2 days, a couple that saw 1 in their whole tour, we saw 8 orangs in just 6 hours or so!! first we saw a teen orang that started following us from the tree tops, then we crossed paths with a mama orang and her baby orang, then a single male adult, then a couple male-female, one more young adult and, THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN A LONG TIME, we were tubing back down the river to the guest house and we saw this HUGE orang, it looked almost 2m and like +200lbs Breakfast was good, super good KopiSusu, omelette, banana pancakes, everything was delicious!

The most beautiful people i ever stayed with And beautiful room with an amazing atmosphere Quite and peaceful,the bed so comfortable the bathroom with really nice decorations and good shower and it was super clean and well decorated.To get to this bungalow really easy access and you can get something good in super market (indomaret)just about 5 minute away with scooter, The view of the ricefield and the green surrounding is just what I looking for. They organize my jungle trekking with the best guide (jipur,aji and bagus)for 3 days 2 night Which is so great and fun So much knowledge of the jungle,animals and medical plants.
