Words could not describe how amazing was our experience. Since we arrived, Bryan welcomed us with a very big smile and kindness. The food, the location, the room, everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations. The jungle trekking with the staff of Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey was anonther level of perfection. Rachid and Gunawan were more than professional and helpful during the whole trip, big thanks to them. The trek was wonderful, the food also was so delicious , the lunch and the dinner in the camp where we had a special member of the team who cooked for us traditional dishes. We highly recommend both the guesthouse and the trip in the jungle with this super team. Thank you a lot for this lifetime memorable experience.

Situated in Padang and only 1.2 km from Air Manis Beach, The view padang, Amazing view, food, drink, sleep, transport, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and... The view is superb right from the room balcony. The hosts are great with their hospitality and personalised services. You feel like home right away. We chit chat everyday like an old friend. Breakfast is nice too. The guesthouse is on Gado-Gado hill and it is close to the paragliding base. Perfect sunset view.

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

Providing garden views, SeaGate Bungalows in Sabang provides accommodation, a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The Place was amazing. Great value for money. The room has a sea view, it is very quiet, comfortable, clean and you have a fridge, desk and drinking water in the room. Wifi works well and I could work and take online meetings with no problem. The food prepared at the restaurant is some of the best I have eaten in Indonesia. Because of Ramadan food options needed to be arranged in advance but the host cooked for us during lunch also because on the island there would have been very limited options otherwise. The best thing is the reef right in front of the property that is basically your backyard. Beautiful snorkeling you can stay in the water for hours. They arranged for us a pick up and drop off at the ferry port and also a scooter rental at a reasonable price.

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour is offering accommodation in Bukit Lawang. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.

Sumatra Expedition Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Bukit Lawang, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Beautiful property, great to hang out at, and not in the tourist area. You can get the feel of a local neighborhood. The rooms are clean and spacious.
