Words could not describe how amazing was our experience. Since we arrived, Bryan welcomed us with a very big smile and kindness. The food, the location, the room, everything was perfect and way beyond our expectations. The jungle trekking with the staff of Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey was anonther level of perfection. Rachid and Gunawan were more than professional and helpful during the whole trip, big thanks to them. The trek was wonderful, the food also was so delicious , the lunch and the dinner in the camp where we had a special member of the team who cooked for us traditional dishes. We highly recommend both the guesthouse and the trip in the jungle with this super team. Thank you a lot for this lifetime memorable experience.

Situated in Padang and only 1.2 km from Air Manis Beach, The view padang, Amazing view, food, drink, sleep, transport, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and... The view is superb right from the room balcony. The hosts are great with their hospitality and personalised services. You feel like home right away. We chit chat everyday like an old friend. Breakfast is nice too. The guesthouse is on Gado-Gado hill and it is close to the paragliding base. Perfect sunset view.

With mountain views, Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa is situated in Bukit Lawang and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. Ellie helped us to organise a trip in Sumatra from getting picked up at the airport to being dropped off, including activities such as jungle tour, elephant washing, lake toba, etc. Not only was she very professional during the organisation but she was also available all along in case something happened! Upon arrival at the discovery villa, we were greeted by Tyson and a delicious watermelon juice, while he walked us through the planning of the next couple days. Every guide we had was very knowledgeable ( Dany walked us through the jungle, he stopped often to show us some plants and of course the various monkeys/ orangutans) and always seemed very happy! The food was very diverse and delicious, especially the juices😋 The whole trip felt like pure holidays, we did something everyday but never felt rushed or stressed as the guides were usually flexible! Everything was absolutely amazing, we would definitely recommend staying there and take contact if there is any special requests, they are always happy to help their hosts!! We will hopefully be back one day!

I have stayed 4 days at SeaGate bungalows and it’s a beautiful place, I didn’t want to leave. Borja y Yuyun (the owners) are very caring and even after just few days the place felt more like a home away from home. It’s one of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

I really loved this place, because it was quiet, and near everything. Wifi was good too. I recommend this place.

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys features accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour is offering accommodation in Bukit Lawang. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Accommodation with a great view and a great restaurant right across the river. The owner, Putra, was very helpful and positive. There was nothing he couldn't arrange. I especially recommend going on a jungle trek with him because he definitely knows what he's doing.

Sumatra Expedition Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Bukit Lawang, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Beautiful place to stay and a really good jungle trek with nice guides. Jhony, Havidz and Adam were the best!
