Took my parents on a weekend getaway here, and it was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever come across! Such a beautiful cabin, clean and well looked after. Perfect location, right next to Mudbrick Vineyard and 10 min walk to Cable Bay! Will definitely come back!

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been given a free upgrade to one of the suites which had incredible views overlooking Oneroa! The suite was well equipped, tidy and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Tawa Lodge is in such a peaceful, beautiful location, very close to bus stops and only a 15 min leisurely walk into Oneroa. Highly recommend :)

The property said it was in Oneroa, but was actually a few kms out of town. Bus was convenient though. Fenice and the Waiheke Grocer we’re both fabulous. Got a bargain at the Recycle Boutique. Charming small main town on Waiheke Island. V good bus service and is served by 2 ferry likes to Auckland. There are several excellent restaurants and many wonderful wineries on the island, which we recommend. The locals are friendly and helpful. I stayed at Wild Thyme it was a great place to stay not far from shops and restaurants etc. I took my car over to the island glad I did made it easy for getting around,you can get hire cars if you want

Great place to visit, lots to do & see.
Great place to visit, lots to do & see. Earlier in the week a number of places closed due to Covid as they can't get the staff. Closer to the weekend more places open. Enjoyed lots of Cellar Door tastings & took lots of wine home to stock our cellar.VickiNew Zealand - 10Scored 10

nice village, bigger than I had realised from internet/brochures. 1st time visit. Variety of shops - food & clothes & souvenirs, Not just for tourists but locals too. easy to get about on foot. very near beach & sea. Plenty nice restaurants - good variety of food choices. nearby wineries i did not get to.

It was wonderful to wake up to kereru, tuis and fantails every morning and sit outside in our private patio area enjoying a glass of bubbly in the evening. The clean, modern, sunny studio was perfect for our needs and our host, Karen, was incredibly welcoming with great local knowledge. Her thoughtful touches made our 25th Wedding Anniversary getaway extra special.

It's a reasonably easy 20 minute walk from the Fullers ferry terminal, a 10 minute walk into Oneroa's shops and restaurants; Cable Bay and Mudbrick vineyards are even closer and there's a bus stop nearby to access attractions further afield. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and we couldn't want for anything. Josie and Wayne, the lovely hosts, are so accommodating.

Fantastic location, nice views of the vineyards, plenty of birdlife and a couple of cute rabbits. Within walking distance to Oneora township and beach, Cable Bay and Mudbrick Vineyards.
