One of the most amazing and special stays in the middle of the desert. The lodge is the last on the road, which means it's got an unobstructed view, silence, and peace. It is a great place to relax, away from the busy Medina, would recommend it to anyone who has a couple of nights to spare. We spent 2 nights there (wish it was more) and enjoyed every second of it. The food was good, the service was exceptional, very clean and tidy. The tents are very big and comfortable. The staff kindly arranged transport for us to and from the location.

We was a little apprehensive as there had recently been so poor reviews however I like to make my own opinion so did not let those reviews taint our stay and I’m so glad as we loved everything about the camp! I’m not sure if the people leaving poor reviews were expecting maybe a 5* luxury resort and therefore their expectations were way above what a camp in the desert could offer but it massively exceeded my expectations!
I cannot fathom where the complaints about the staff come from as our experience was completely different, the staff could not do more for you, they were very attentive and friendly and we found the service to be great for a camp in the desert! We were given tea and biscuits on arrival and were shown to our room early. Some of the staff may not have much experience with customer service but they all greeted you with a smile and you could see how hard they were all trying. We were really impressed with the service.
The food was delicious. Yes there is a limited menu but again, you’re at a camp in the desert, there’s still enough choice and that’s coming from a very fussy eater! and the prices I thought were very reasonable. We also did not have to wait very long for our food at all. And even
if you do have to wait a little bit the atmosphere is so lovely, you just take in where you are and appreciate it!
The pool area was amazing with great music and very relaxing. The sunbeds are so comfy and the towels provided were clean. The pool itself is cold but as soon as you are in it’s the perfect temperature for a hot day in the desert. There is no alcohol here which was not a problem for us at all. The non alcoholic cocktails by the pool were absolutely amazing.
We stayed in the dome tents which were incredible!! They were very clean and just had such lovely little touches. The bed was super comfy and the tent came equipped with a fire and AC.

We enjoyed a unique stay here that could not have been more beautiful. The hotel and the inner courtyard are lavishly built and maintained with great attention to detail. The staff were incredibly attentive and literally read out every wish from our eyes; for example, they brought us blankets while we gazed at the starry sky or homemade gluten-free bread for breakfast. Everything is very clean - which is especially astonishing because the hotel is located in the middle of the stone desert. With the various bushes, trees and chirping birds in the courtyard, it is a true oasis of peace. Highly recommended!

Exceptional experience overall. The tents were well equipped, comfortable and clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner provided on site was delicious, and the additions of a fireplace/fire show post dinner was so memorable. The pool was great to use later in the afternoon, overlooking beautiful views. Sunset/sunrise from the site was stunning. Such a memorable experience!!

Great location and view from our big room, nice breakfast and dinner, and a super spot in which you can find the swimming pool. Big thanks to the Senegalese boy from the stuff who is very kind.

On arrival we checked in they told us they would let us
know if the room was ready! We waited two hours ordering
two lattes in the meantime that definitely weren't lattes more
like sugary coffee water with no milk we then went to check
an they took us down there was no sun lounges on the cabin
we booked which is advertised in the photos there was
building work going on in the cabin behind us so we asked to
get some loungers brought down so we had something to
enjoy the sun in! Considering we paid £200 we waited maybe
an hour before anyone came down there was cigarette butts
around the pool that we had been checked into on our
private room neither me nor my partner smoke so was
dissapointed as we hate this. They then came down an told
us to move cabin so we moved to the one in front hurrying to
get our stuff back in suitcase and down to the second room
forgetting some of our belongings we then go back to check
if we left there an gone (someone had collected them an not
informed us even though they literally moved us in the
10minute period so took some of our belongings to reception
without telling us). Our new cabins half the decking had
collapsed and fallen through and been covered up with a rug
3 floor boards we're sticking in the air that I tripped and hurt
my ankle on. The new cabin had a bath with no bath Matt and
no bath plug so it was a weird bath with a hand held shower
which is difficult to wash in! We didn't really understand. The
next day we had hairs in our food that we ordered I informed
staff an they replaced the food I noticed another hair in the
second food an couldn't be asked to complain again also the
tea in the morning tasted like it had salt in! Either they didn't
like us or the attention to detail really isn't there. Loooks
great on Instagram an update at the view but the detail is
missing things and the health an safety!
