We booked the house when we were stranded in Seydisfjordur by a hurricane. The host was easy to reach out by phone and was very helpful in allowing us to stay inside the house a bit longer after the check out time so that we could figure out our plan.

We got stuck in the eastern part of Iceland for a few days during a hurricane and had to move from one hotel to another in a hectic way. Herad - Berjaya was the best among the few we stayed in.

Everything but especially the breakfast which was the best we had out of the 10 properties we stayed in this trip. They have a little bar open in the evening and in summer months dinner is available too. Nice little snug tv room where you can relax and chat with other guests. Outside there are a couple of hot tubs but we didn’t try them
