Very charming hotel facing the old harbour.
The room was perfect, with a touch of old villa fashion. Very nice common spaces, to read or chat booking at the sea. The breakfast was majestic.
The staff was nice and helpful.

Travelling in France would be so much easier if there were more hotels like this one. It's just a little bit out from the city centre, was a good size, not too big, had some English speaking staff, was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a restaurant and bar but we didn't use either. The information booklet was in both French and English. There appeared to be plenty of parking. There are two supermarkets in walking distance.
Located in the city’s historic centre, this hotel is just 350 metres from Paimpol Train Station, in Brittany. It offers comfortable guest rooms a 10-minute walk from the harbour.

Breakfast was fantastic in quality and delivered to table with pride in produce. Could not in my estimation have been better.
Located in Paimpol, Maison d'hôtes du Carrec offers beachfront accommodation 800 metres from Plage de Keirdreiz and provides various facilities, such as a garden and a shared lounge.

Maison d'hotes du Carrec is a lovely place to stay while visiting the Brittany coast. Our accommodation was very clean, with comfortable bed and well appointed ensuite bathroom. The view from our room was amazing, looking out to the sea and offshore islands. Isabelle offered a very good breakfast as part of the room cost, with freshly prepared crepes, eggs and a variety of breads, jams etc. Breakfast is served in a bright sunroom looking out over the sea. The entire property is very well cared for, with a surrounding garden.
It is an easy, short walk down to the seashore, as well as the historic Abbaye de Beauport. Isabelle was also able to offer helpful advice on local restaurants, and made a dinner reservation for us at our request.

We were very impressed with Paimpol & the surrounding area, both coastal & inland, but in full season it could be very difficult to get around & park.
There are plenty of shops & restaurants but we only ate home-cooked food.
The ruined Abbey de Beauport is well worth a visit, with lovely coastal walking areas in and around the grounds. It also had excellent parking & a cafe.
We would recommend a stay in Paimpol but not in the full holiday season.

Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. The bars were full and the atmosphere was lively.

Nice little town, lots of interesting shops and restaurants, everything very close by, small independent shops and supermarkets, hardware stores garages and the like, touristy but obviously popular with locals as well.

Great place for a stopover, lots of boating activity, great quayside restaurants and a visit to nearby " Brehat " island is a must. Very accessible by car with many other lovely resorts worth visiting
The hotel is centrally located, with spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation. The Breakfast had an exceptional choice and was fresh and appetising, with some hot items served. The Restaurant was not open on the night of our stay, but would be worth trying some time, especially for a Gourmet treat. Good car parking facilities were available in advance of check-in, and the WiFi was also complimentary. A first class choice of hotel within walking distance of the fabulous Paimpol.

The location couldn't be better. It's on the main square so we were well placed for discovering the area. The apartment itself was spacious (the largest we've had in France), comfortable and the amenities were very much appreciated. We loved having a space where we could work, visit, and relax. The square is lively during the day and quiet at night.
The accommodation was excellent, with a sea view and port view. It was within walking distance to all amenities and we loved the Riva restaurant. It was small but had everything you required for a two night stay and the breakfast was so generous. Having Netflix and an excellent Wifi, what more could you want? (Being English!) Thank you.
I took a room with a port view, what you see in the photo is what you see out your window. It is “downtown” so noisier at night. Well worth exploring the coastal walking route GR34, north & south from the town. Treguier easy bus ride (though not frequent). You can rent an e-bike from Haute Keranos hotel, about a mile out of town.
Quite an exceptional chambre d'hote. Immaculate throughout, lovely courtyard for relaxing in, top notch breakfast and the kindest, nicest hosts you could ask for. Possible the best "hotel" I've been to for many years.
This is a very characteristic hotel. We had a big room, very tastefull decorated with antique furniture. The owners are very friendly and talketive people, also very helpfull. Breakfast was tasty.
