Very charming hotel facing the old harbour. The room was perfect, with a touch of old villa fashion. Very nice common spaces, to read or chat booking at the sea. The breakfast was majestic. The staff was nice and helpful.

Travelling in France would be so much easier if there were more hotels like this one. It's just a little bit out from the city centre, was a good size, not too big, had some English speaking staff, was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a restaurant and bar but we didn't use either. The information booklet was in both French and English. There appeared to be plenty of parking. There are two supermarkets in walking distance.

Maison d'hotes du Carrec is a lovely place to stay while visiting the Brittany coast. Our accommodation was very clean, with comfortable bed and well appointed ensuite bathroom. The view from our room was amazing, looking out to the sea and offshore islands. Isabelle offered a very good breakfast as part of the room cost, with freshly prepared crepes, eggs and a variety of breads, jams etc. Breakfast is served in a bright sunroom looking out over the sea. The entire property is very well cared for, with a surrounding garden. It is an easy, short walk down to the seashore, as well as the historic Abbaye de Beauport. Isabelle was also able to offer helpful advice on local restaurants, and made a dinner reservation for us at our request.
