Self catering, very close to centre of town. Great apartment, very spacious, washing machine was great especially for my husband’s cycling clothes. Beautiful ancient town, some very narrow streets.

Beautifully renovated cottage 2mins from the town centre, had everything you'd need for a week's stay
Le MAS LES MARGAUDS is a self-catering accommodation located in Malaucène at the foot of Mount Ventoux. The property features a garden, a terrace and BBQ facilities.
We love visiting Malaucene. The cycling in the area is fantastic and it's easy to drive to other places such as Arles, Avignon, Orange. We ate at a variety of restaurants, all pretty good - The Blueberry, Chez Max and The Terrace are our favourites.

Probably the best little town in the area.
Probably the best little town in the area.
Lively, with lots of shops, market and plenty of restaurant choice.
Perfect location for cycling the wine valleys and Mont Ventoux, and around 6 cycle shops to get kit and bike service etc.
Cost wise its very reasonable (not held hostage for price like other resorts)

This Appartment is in an excellent location: close the village center, but in the quiet small street. Parking in front of the house on the street! Fully equipped, nothing is missing. A special cellar room to lock the bikes. Ideal as a Mount Ventoux biking base. Huge dinning room, complete kitchen! Comforable ideal for 4, max 6 person. Perfect communication with the owner. I do really recommend. Jan

Lovely little traditional town with good selection of restaurants and guest houses. There was a large market there on Wednesday morning with a great selection of crafts, food and clothes. Highly recommended for cyclists targeting Mont Ventoux and good location to explore the region.

We enjoyed a remarkable visit at La Madelene, with beautiful, comfortable rooms in a gorgeous country setting. Phillip and Jude are extremely gracious hosts. We did a wine tour with Phillip that was terrific and included a fantastic meal prepared by Jude. It worked quite well for us to take the TGV from Paris to Avignon and rent a car in Avignon to reach La Madelene. Highly recommend!
I REALLY LOVED this place ! It is at walking distance from Malaucène and the big advantage is that it is super quiet 24/24 !!! Also Christophe and Diane are sooooo lovely, super friendly and with the biggest respect : they’re in for a nice talk when you want it and on the other hand they leave you undisturbed when you want time for yourself. What could you want more ? For me it was an absolute TOP stay to prepare for my 3x Mt Ventoux bike adventure and recover the day after !! THANK YOU Diane & Christophe !!
Had a room with private bathroom. Room is very basic but suppose all I needed was somewhere to sleep and shower, it met my needs. Price was good. Location superb for cyclists although the 'secure' bike storage was basically the beer cellar. Generally the food was fantastic but don't have breakfast.
I would use the hotel again
Location and accommodation perfect for 6/7 people and our Les Cingles cycle trip up Ventoux. High quality accommodation kitchen and a fantastic garden with pool and BBQ. Plenty of space for reassembling bikes and great shops and restaurants in Malaucene
We love the location. Malaucene is a nice little town, and close to our hearts. The property is in a stunning location, surrounded by lavender fields and with the smell constantly in the air - it's a pity you can't photograph the smell...
A small, but full 4 story house. Excellent location in the main street of Malaucène, at walking distance of a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bike shops. And only 100 meters from the start of the climb to the Mont Ventoux.
This is not a full service hotel. No restaurant except breakfast. Bar and “store” where tou could buy cold food to be microwaved closed at 7:00pm. Big room but just not our thing. Quiet and off the bearen path.
very good location , super handy appartement, all the comfort you need, close to the town of Malaucene.
The owners are very friendly and come to help with every small problem.
The manager could not have been more helpful and met each and every request we had. We went for a cycling holiday and for this the property and it's manager were exceptional
my first holiday solo, Marie welcomed me. Le Pigeonnier is so perfect, beautiful, light and airy, just off the Main Street. I cannot wait to visit again
