We booked a table for dinner and the menu was really good. Better than we expected! And the wine list was extensive. The breakfast was also fabulous with plenty of choice and lots of fruit and croissants (huge!) of course.

The parking area at the rear of the hotel was crowded but we were guided to a parking site fairly near our room. Next morning there were still a lot of cars parked and this was reflected in the number of people at breakfast. The staff did a good job rushing around refilling food and drink, which disappeared quickly. The entire staff, starting with the man who checked us in and showed us to our parking, were pleasant and helpful.

So cozy and warm and comfortable, amazing hosts James and his wife. The property has stunning gardens and near lake. Lovely pool no extra charge there is a flight of stairs to reach pool. I write as I have a disabled family member and hope these details helps someone else. Bedroom 1 is step free ground floor walk in shower. great continental breakfast.
