The staff were super friendly and helpful. They ordered our bus tickets that we had problems with ourselves. They gave us a free ride to downtown. Honestly all of them are such welcoming and nice staff. The breakfast included was huge and outstanding. And also there were so many cute animals all around us like dogs, cats and a turtle. 1 dog even gave birth to the cutest puppies while we were there so if you want a cuddle puddle with some new born puppies, this is the place to be. We were so relaxed and the accomodation is the most beautiful I have seen in all of egypt. The photos do not lie!!!

Our time at Cafour House is the number one holiday I've had so far. As we arrived, Abdu and Nora (the owners) were helping and showed us around. Their kindness, communication and hospitality is waaay more than the expected, we really could enjoy the time here without any problem.
We had traditional egyptian breakfast, and also had lunch and dinner here for a very reasonble price. All meals were quite big portions, and tasted very well, thanks to the kitchen staff!:)
The hot spring is very nurturing, you can literally see the stars from the tub at night. One of my favourite.
The location is a bit far from the city centre, but you can experience real silence and peace here without and disturbing sounds.
The centre of Siwa city is a 15 min ride by tuktuk, for a very reasonable price. Abdu and Nora also helped us with the programmes, we tried desert safari (100%worth it) and we visited the Salt Lakes, the Cleopatra Spring, the Oracle Temple, the Amun Temple and watched the sunset on a nice spot with Hakam. He is an excellent tour guide, he knows a lot about this mysterious little city. I can fully recommend to ask him for guiding.
It's hard to summon the whole experience in one single sentence, but i'll try:
I will definitely come back:)
Greetings and hugs from 2 hungarian traveler

A beautiful green lake sits among this ocean of yellow sand, but Siwa has more than just breathtaking sceneries, it carries a culture of its own; local habitants of Siwa actually speaks their own language, which is more like the language spoken by the Berber (desert people from further west), than the Egyptian Arabic spoken in the rest of Egypt.

Visit Siwa if you are looking for history and nature.
Visit Siwa if you are looking for history and nature. The Mountain of the dead and The Temple of the Oracle are must see sites. Take the desert safari to explore the desert, ride around sand dunes, see an oasis, visit a hot spring. Nice!

Siwa is on of hidden Gems globally, it takes 7 hours by car from Cairo the Capital, Enjoy the nature in every single thing, starting from morning, enjoy a traditional Bedouin breakfast, Safari in western desert with local guide, sand surfing, and Tea on fire, ending it up with midnight camping on middle of nowhere,
Second day, the salt lakes where it heal your skin burns or scars, do it carefully and don't put your eyes into the water, Never. Ending up in Cleopatra spring to wash up all your sins, ;)
Third day, have a round in old Siwa, enjoying Abdo Rest. eating local food and shop around for pure healthy herbs.

There is little to do here.
There is little to do here. Two mediocre archaeological sites, one spring (Cleopatra pool). Only one restaurant. The fresh water lake has no real access. The salt lake is a long drive to where you can swim in rectangular mined areas.
It might be ok for people who want to hang out in their hotel beside a pool and do nothing. Flies everywhere and bad mosquitoes at dusk and dawn.

Everyone deserves a trip to Siwa.
Everyone deserves a trip to Siwa. I know the road there and back may dissuade you but it is entirely worth your time. In fact, I would dare say you NEED to come here. Here you will experience a different culture than the hustle and bustle of Cairo and Luxor. There is plenty going on here but it is much less crowded and much more peaceful. The Siwa Salt Lakes are a must-see experience. There is something almost other-worldly in the air here, especially coming from the busy streets of more densely populated Egyptian cities. Just a few days here in the middle of your trip and you will feel ready to tackle the rest of your Egyptian cities. Missing this place and all the tuktuk rides so much!
Really recomend people to stay at Sleep inn Siwa! This its just a amazing hotel in a amazing place. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful and super clean, with a very nice garden. Ahmed was a lovely guy, and a great host! Very helpful and a great person.
Its a small ride from the town, or a nice walk. But thats was No problem, it was very peaceful and great to not stay in town. I needed to stay longer, and would love to go back one day! Also nice breakfast, with nice olives from the garden! :)
Olive Garden House is a gem in Siwa. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable with big blankets. There is a living room and good internet. The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for cooking your own meals. The garden is beautiful, with many plants, a tent, a fire place...
It is located a bit outside the center (20 min walking), so it's very peaceful. You can hire a tuk-tuk for excursions and to go to the center. I definitely recommend and will stay here again when I come back.
Beautiful place with private hot spring. You can sit at the fire in the evening, enjoying the guitar. Friendo is a very kind owner. He takes good care after you, preparing fresh breakfast. You also can make tours with him, showing you the beauty of Siwa. I stayed 4 days and Friendo became a real friend, he makes you feeling at home. If you are looking for silence in good company you should stay at Friendo‘s house.
Thanks Friendo, hope to see you again inshallah
Everything . we found the stay and the host to be exactly like all the good reviews that has been posted under Nalnshal Siwa. Hilal is great host, very warm, helpful and passionate about his business. He goes an extra mile to make sure the customers are happy and getting value of the money they spent. The lodging is authentic Siwa home, very traditional. Abdul at reception is friendly and helpful. Always available to fulfill any request made.
The bed is huge and very comfortable. Its more like 2 people sharing 1 room rather than the hostel. so it was very quiet and comfortable during night. Room is with balcony and also they provide free laundry.
The hotel has a very good vibe, u really meet people and travel around together.
Good breakfast is the plus and also such a sweet host offers dinner for guests. ❤️
My stay was very comfortable and the hostel provided everything i needed
We had a good experience here, definitely I recommend this place.the best thing about the hotel is the owner Ali, he is attentive and helpful, everything we needed, he has recommendations. The room is clean and silent, the breakfast is on the roof where you have a very nice panoramic view of the oasis. Remember to bring mosquito repellent since Siwa is surrounded by lake water bodies.
Hotel manager Ali is friendly and very understanding, and he arranged pick-up from the bus station and a coupe of day trips for us. Nader is a very genuine, happy and chill boy who prepared the breakfast with lots of effort. Mousa is very nice and patient driver. They all made our trip in Siwa a special experience. Thank you all for everything.
Faraj has been a wonderful host. You can't miss on him, he's a knowledgeable guy that loves his bedouins roots and is ready to share them with you. The place itself is amazing, to visit Siwa you can't look for anything more. Room, bathroom and breakfast exceeded my expectations and will make sure to come back when I'll have the chance.
the staff at the Siwa relax retreat are exceptional, everyone was super helpful and friendly. the hotel is located outside of the town which was great for us. very quiet and relaxing. the driver was always available to talk us around or to pick up whatever we needed. the sunset from the hotel is amazing. i highly recommend this place
Helal, his family and his staff were excellent. The breakfast was exceptional. After a day exploring, the gardens are the ideal oasis within an oasis. The water in the shower was hot and the bed was very comfortable. I joined Helal and his family for an exceptional evening meal. It is one of my fondest memories of this trip to Siwa.
Everything was good!
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was decorated prettily, with hammocks, etc., and I highly recommend it!

Thank you!
The resort was highly organized and clean, the stuff was super cooperative and helpful. They have guided us for the best trips and activities in the city with very affordable prices. In addition, the food in the resort is super delicious and reflects the local Siwa recipes.
The hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful garden with lots of lounge areas and nature all around. It was only a 5-minute car ride from the city center where all the shops and restaurants were located. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff is great. Property is very well managed. The prices are clear and the dinner (charged extra) is good value for money and tasty. The siwa juice is the best I have had.
Special shout out to Hakam, Nina, Abby for making the stay super memorable.
Charming place near sand dunes with great view over Siwa oasis. Fantastic breakfast, self-planted dates and olives and charmingly hosted. Language was sometimes a barrier, but we worked our way around. Thank you to Yousef and Ahmed for the great stay.
The best place we stayed in Egypt! Wonderful design, comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Ahmet, the owner, made planning activities and tours in Siwa very easy and is a very friendly guy. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back some day.
