So clean. Everything works and you definitely have what you need. They play a very peaceful background music which adds to the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent.

It is close to Omicho Market and public transport and shopping. The train station is walkable but there are many buses which can get you there faster. It is a small ryokan and very personal. Mie Sumi was my attendant—she greeted me, served me meals, answered my questions, set up my bedding, and saw me off. The food was tasty and filling. The bath was large enough for three or four but I was alone while bathing. There is a separate bath for each sex. It was very quiet even though the main street was very close. I thought it would be a great introduction to learn about ryokan through this property. Mie spoke English very well. The price for 1/2 board is far lower than anything you can find elsewhere. The experience is invaluable.

The room was large with a tatami floor and looked onto a beautiful garden. Yukatas were provided for walking around the Ryokan. Clean facilities and some amenities provided. The baths were able to be used by myself and my husband privately. It was about 25 minutes walk from the station and very close to Kanazawa castle gardens.
