Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. It was a comfortable stay for the purpose of our trip (stayover en route from Townsville to Mackay). The room would have been too small for a longer stay with my children of 16+. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful location. Parking close to accommodation.

Guests enjoy panoramic hinterland and river views, 5 on-site dining options, and a fitness centre. Great staff, special mention to Mukul and Shin Ching who helped give us a fabulous experience at the hotel.

At the resort, all rooms are fitted with a balcony with a mountain view. Every room has a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At Noosa Eco Retreat every room includes bed linen and towels. This was one of the most interesting and enjoyable stays we've had in a while. The property is far enough from the big cities that you get some excellent stargazing. We also enjoyed the firepit on site. We enjoyed a visit from a small pack of curious kangaroos, one of them being ~20 feet from our yurt. The yurt is very well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the bean bags were a fun addition. There was also a lovely breakfast for us. Everything we needed was considered and provided by the hosts. We really enjoyed this glamping experience!

Loved how quirky the accom was and also that the staff had turned the air conditioning on so the room was nice and refreshing. Awesome that complimentary bug spray and an umbrella was provided too

Guests can enjoy river views. The view to die for. We wanted to be relaxed and lazy and we were. Beautiful little township. Well priced we thought. Very secure. The villas are amazing.
