The views of the ocean from this apartment are incredible! Having the balcony was an added bonus. The apartment felt very private, with our own private entrance, but was steps away from the beach and the wonderful restaurant/bar below. The restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful. We walked about 1 km down the beach into the national park and had an incredible shoreline all to ourselves.

There is pretty big variety of food and drinks, several a la carte restaurants to choose from + buffet. People who stay at Catalonia Royal La Romana (adults side) can use family side free of charge (including all restaurants, buffet, bars). There is a nice web app to make reservations (we had no issue to get the table), order room service, check resort map etc.

This hotel is great and beautiful, facilities are so clean and it always feels relaxing to come here. The staff is very helpful and everyone is so sweet. The food was good too. It is a bit expensive overall, but I would say for the level of service you get, it is only fair. We loved the different pools facing the sea, with the boats passing in the mornings and in before sunset ; beautiful.
