If you want peace and quiet and a lovely view of the Altafjord - then this small family hotel is perfect for you! The view on the sea was beautiful, the room super comfortable and the breakfast very good. We really enjoyed the common rooms with armchairs and see on the sunset

This was our first stay in Norway and we absolutely got blown away with the hospitality and kindness we received from the owner. The room was fresh and cosy with amazing views. The patio had ha shared fireplace for bbq or just enjoy the Fjord. The breakfast was very nice and had many options, and we got served freshly baked bread. This is a really nice place to stay!

Situated in Båtsfjord, Båtsfjord Brygge has a restaurant, bar, ski-to-door access, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious and there were multiple choices on the buffet. Would recommend and stay again!

Surrounded by the Arctic wilderness, Snowhotel Kirkenes stands as a testament to innovation and adventure, offering an unforgettable experience year-round. Our stay at the Snowhotel was the highlight of our trip to Norway! The staff were all so welcoming and they really take customer service seriously, from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, the mushers and the guides, they made us feel special. We stayed the first night in the snow hotel in the first room with the fireplace. We were given a tour of the facilities and an explanation on how to sleep on the ice beds in the sleeping bags. We were afraid we would be cold but the sleeping bags were actually quite warm and you also get woolen socks and balaclavas. We had quite a comfortable sleep and it was certainly a once in a lifetime experience to try! The snow hotel itself is a work of art, each room is unique and there is an ice bar as well which serves drinks in ice glasses. It's definitely worth a visit even if you don't spend the night there. On the second night we stayed in one of the Gamme cabins, which are very comfortable and have a huge glass window perfect to look out for the aurora. The breakfast buffet and set dinner were delicious, serving local dishes such as reindeer steak, arctic char and king crab salad. They also cater to dietary preferences if you inform them in advance. Lunch is available at the Gabba restaurant, the choices a bit limited, but we enjoyed the free-flowing hot berry juice there. There is also tea & coffee in the lounge available for guests throughout the day. For activities, we highly recommend the husky safari, snowmobile tour and the Sami meet-up - it's hard to pick our favorite as they were all incredible experiences. You can borrow thermal overalls and boots for these activities, as well as skis, sledges and snow shoes.

The night in the small wagon was very nice and the "fireplace" has a certain charm. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The small farm with several animals and the possibility to go to the jacuzzi and or sauna is great. You can book rental equipment for a snowshoe hike directly on site. Parking is free of charge. Note that there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby. So you are tied to the accommodation's catering on site. This is very good, but the costs add up!

מלון סוריסניבה איגלו (Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel) הוא מלון איגלו מיוחד הממוקם לאורך נהר אלטה (Alta River), ונמצא במרחק של כ-20 ק"מ ממרכז העיירה אלטה (Alta). The hotel was spectacular. We had the chance to view all the suites and they were all incredible. If you can splurge on the suite…do it! The art in the hotel is just incredibly creative and beautiful. All around in incredible!!

Ami Hotel is located in central Tromsø. It offers brightly decorated rooms with a fridge, flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Hurtigruten Terminal is 5 minutes’ walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is great only 5 mins walk into the shops and main town, the room and facilities were very clean, it was great having kitchen facilities such as a microwave and also free coffee/tea/hot chocolate!
