Situated in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, next to the banks of River Dart. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, garden and a bar. Lovely hotel in nice town. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was really good, tasty and had lot of variety of choices. We loved to stay here.

I stayed in the single room, which could have been an afterthought, but I felt it was really well laid out and appointed. I appreciate the ethics of the business. All the staff I met were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Great location also. Thought it might be noisy, from the pub, but it was just fine.

Fantastic 1700s Georgian building in sweet hamlet with huge old fireplace you can sit in. very comfortable bed, super bedding and huge towels, sweet room, beautiful modern en-suite bathroom. very welcoming eating areas and bar with artwork and comfy old furniture. All staff were fabulous as were our dinners and breakfast. Thank you to everyone there! we were delayed getting there and phoned. Their chef still made us yummy interesting meals from the menu board and we ate around 9:30. Meals were balanced and tiptop!
