The bed and breakfast was super clean and very cute. The host always helped us out. She gave us so much information about the area and even helped us book a taxi early in the morning for our bus back home. The breakfast was amazing and it is obvious that the host put a lot of effort into the whole experience for her guests.

Situated in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc and at the heart of the Alpine mountains, the Grand Hotel des Alpes offers unique accommodation. Staff, beds, rooms were all excellent to us. Comfortable, welcoming, very friendly. It was decorated very charmingly. Facilities were more than adequate and we thought were got extreme value out of it.

Set at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi Mountain, near the city centre and the train station, this charming hotel features comfortable rooms and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is located in the centre of Chamonix: couple of minutes to the local shops/bars/restaurants and 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet, the highlights being sliced sourdough bread, banana bread and very nicely prepared scrambled eggs. The ski room allocates the skis/boots to your room number with a padlock if you want one. My bedroom had a great balcony with an amazing view of the Mont Blanc range.

It is small, but has everything you need, great heating, a lovely heated pool on premise, and very kind owners and managers, who were lovely to deal with and very helpful. Les Houches is part of Chamonix valley with a free bus taking you to ski at other parts of the valley, but we actually preferred Les Houches so by the end of the week were just skiing there.

This good-sized apartment is a little dated but clean and largely fully functional. Large family dining table, comfy sofas, quality beds, amply linen&towels, sufficient kitchenette! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We were three and stayed in the family apartment. Breathtaking views.

The welcome and friendliness were exceptional and so was the view. We arrived early and were accommodated without fuss. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a very good place in the village 15 minutes away on foot. We were concerned about noise from the highway at night but that was not a problem and I am a very light sleeper.

Bust stop just across the street. Mountain view room. Beautiful lake nearby. 15mnt bus ride to center. Breakfast all you can eat even only bread,madeline and cereal. There is no better location to stay in Chamonix but this place! It has a jacuzzi on the veranda with a view of the magnificient mont blanc and a sauna inside the huge bathroom. A free access to the spa at the hotel is also included. There's really nothing more to ask 👍👍👍
