The Grand Hôtel du Tonneau d’Or, an establishment with neo-classical charm built in 1902, offers modern accommodation in a setting steeped in history. A great hotel . We loved the sense of belle-époque grandeur in the Reception area and our room was really spacious and beautifully appointed . Huge bed and lovely modern bathroom . Also very convenient for the old town _ just 5 minutes walk away and about 15 mins walk (uphill) to the magnificent citadel . The little bag of chocolates left for us in the room was a great touch . Would definitely stay here again if we return to Belfort . Copious breakfast buffet - excellent !
