The location is great, 5 minute walk to lovely restaraunts and bars, about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was amazing, so clean, modern and comfortable. Loved it here!

It’s next level on every imaginable scale from the luxurious breakfasts, sublime restaurant (yummiest rice-chicken in the country), paradise beach-front hangout area, and the rooms (there are only a handful) are sooo cosy and placed in the little garden behind the beachfront of the hotel (quiet). Perfect showers, beds, silent air-con and great towels (beach towels also provided). This place is totally layed back and made us find a new level of chilling out. EVERYBODY in the staff are totally heartwarmingly adorable and we want to hug them all! A cute squirrel lives in the tree in front also. The fantastic beach is literally right in front but in a secluded and not tacky way in spite of the restaurants luxurious presentation of really such yummy food. Hotel fruit juices are sublime. There is no traffic. We loved this place so much! And they washed all our clothes just when we had no more clean clothes!

I spent the last three nights of my trip at Tuki Tuki lodge and would come back in a heartbeat. JP gave me a warm welcome, even took a short tour of the city in a TukTuk and showed me the most important landmarks. Since the lodge is a little out of the way, it is very quiet, but even as a woman I felt safe walking back from the city in the dark. JP also gave me the bike to use freely, which made the distance even shorter. The room was clean and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared to order every morning and was very tasty. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Guests can make use of a bar.... The owner is a very warm and welcoming person. Whatever question you have she helps to find and answer. She also organized a trip for us to the Palo Verde National Park which we enjoyed a lot. It was great that she also had some soft top surf boards to rent. What was just amazing was the food and the fresh smoothies! We really loved the atmosphere of the hotel.

Located in Tamarindo, Hotel Casa Carlota Tamarindo features a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
