Modern Chinese city. Do not expect much history / many historic buildings although there are quite some interesting sights. Rapidly expanding subway system makes exploring the city easy. Pandas are a must see. However quite some intersting temples and parks to take a look. Good hub to explore the Sichuan province.

Er is best veel te zien in en rond Chengdu . Naast het bezoek aan de Pandabase ook de stad verkend . Leukste was de scootertaxi . De sichuanopera was echt voor de toeristen facechanging indrukwekkend , Waarschijnlijk moet je voor een serieus goede voorstelling ergens anders kijken . IAchteraf hadden we misschien net zo goed kunnen kijken in jinli street of wilde/ narrow alley waar ze ook theater in een restaurantje hebben Er was elke dag wel wat regen . Luchtkwaliteit is minder altijd een mist boven de stad waardoor de zon niet goed doorkomt .
