Yunchengis asuv Yuncheng Yunxi Furusato-Banma Resort on Yunchengi põhjaraudteejaamast 26 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. Friendly and polite staff, very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious dishes at affordable prices. It is the perfect place to relax for the weekend. The Guandi Family Temple is only a 10min walk from the property, very easy to reach and totally worth the visit. As for other tourism attractions although a bit far, the hotel can recommend drivers and the prices are acceptable.

Spordikeskusega InterContinental Taiyuan asub Taiyuanis Shanxi piirkonnas, 7 km kaugusel Taiyuan Wangfujingi kaubamajast. Kohapeal on 2 restorani, spaa- ja heaolukeskus ning sisebassein. Staff were fantastic. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Elsewhere Hotel Leifu Branch Pingyao asub Pingyaos, 700 meetri kaugusel Ji vanast residentsist. Kohapeal on konditsioneer ja terrass. Kohapeal on restoran, ühine köök ja ühine puhkeruum. The Elsewhere hotel was a little gem: it felt like were were staying at one of the ancient buildings we saw around town, while still having the comfort of a modern hotel room. I would recommend accepting the pick up service offered from the train station, since it's quite far from the hotel: we were greeted by Alice, who spoke excellent English and who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even booking the tickets for the city's attractions with her own phone and account when mine didn't want to cooperate. We went to Ping Yao to experience ancient China, and came away with the experience of a lifetime.

Yide Hotel was incredibly beautiful and serene! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I emailed across my arrival train and they arranged (for a very small sum!) for me to be picked up- the same on the way back to Pingyaogucheng, which was immensely helpful. On the day I arrived I happened to get an upgrade on my room- can't be guaranteed, but was great. The breakfast was delicious- I had a lovely tea, scrambled eggs and toast. There were many more options and it was unlimited in how much you had! They gave me a useful map and talked me through the top sites to see. Overall a brilliant stay.

Holiday Inn Express Taiyuan High Tech Zone, an IHG Hotel asub Taiyuani Xiao Diani linnaosas, 3,3 km kaugusel Shanxi ülikoolist, 5,1 km kaugusel Taiyuani lõunaraudteejaamast ja 6,8 km kaugusel Shanxi... Good inexpensive hotel, convinient room, friendly staff.

Fairfield by Marriott Taiyuan South asub Taiyuanis ning pakub tasuta jalgrattaid, jõusaali, ühist puhkeruumi ja restorani. Large, spacious rooms with warm showers. Internet was fast, breakfast was not bad, and is just 50m from Taiyuan South train station.

Fast check in and out Pleasant staff Hotel is not crowded. I only saw one guest throughout my one day stay The next day, I got up early and I was able to walk the entire city (no crowds) I felt very safe The hotel does not have a restaurant, however one is not needed; there are numerous restaurants in the city. I ordered from Meituan. Breakfast the next day was simple but more than enough for me: toast, jelly, fried egg and bacon. There are also numerous options for breakfast in the city. I enjoyed my stay very much, will definitely stay again. Tours that you can take: Wang’s Courtyard is 30 minutes by car and Zhangby’s Fortress is about 30 minutes from Wang’s Courtyard. Traveling tips: To get to Pingyao by train: Beijing to Pingyao: only a few times per day (This is the best option if you are coming from Beijing) Otherwise: Beijing to Pingyao or Shanghai to Pingyao Air China Taiyuan to Pingyao: Rake the fast train that is ~ 30-40 minutes. Business class is 56 rmb Coming back to Beijing (If you miss direct train to Beijing) -Pingyao rail station to Taiyuan South. ( Do not get off on Taiyuan station, you must to go Taiyuan South) I got off the wrong station and had to take a taxi to Taiyuan South which is about 15 minutes with light traffic Taiyuan South to Beijing: 3 hours by fast train.
