Travel light inn Guilin is gelegen in Guilin, op 7 minuten lopen van Treinstation Guilin, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een... De locatie was erg fijn. Dichtbij veel bezienswaardigheden. Daarnaast vind ik het fijn om te wandelen en bevindt het hostel zich in een levendige buurt. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en spreken goed Engels. Geven je veel tips en denken goed met je mee.

Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. A group of 3 friends traveling in China. We have found our stay at Bamboo Lead extremely pleasant, the staff was very nice and very helpful. Small and cozy western and Chinese breakfast, in a room with an amazing view on the mountains. The crepes were stunning! Also highly recommend the room service, we had cheese and cold cuts boards and the quality was very good (especially for China standards) and the price very good. Also very good selection of wine and their prices. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy, we have highly appreciated the use of recyclable and eco friendly tools, which is very rare in China. Very good taste also in the choice of furnitures. The hotel is a few minutes bike ride away from the center of Yangshuo, yet in a better, less touristy and more secluded area to enjoy some rest and peace. Highly recommended!

Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel ligt aan de rivier de Taohua in het centrum van Guilin en heeft een binnenplaats in Chinese stijl. Vriendelijkheid personeel, heerlijke bedden met elektrische deken. Qin die hele dagen met ons op stap ging.

The Apsara Lodge biedt accommodatie in Yangshuo en beschikt over gratis WiFi, een seizoensgebonden buitenbad en een barbecue. The staff and the place is amazing, thank you for everything. :)

De rustig gelegen Riverside Inn bevindt zich in het centrum van Guilin, op een steenworp afstand van de rivier de Taohua en de Nanmen-brug. The accommodation is located is right in the midst of Guilin city’s highlights. The hotel’s personnel is nice, helpful and all speak very good English. We highly recommended this hotel to anyone who would like te visit Guilin and the wonders around it (i.e., Yangshuo, Longji Rice Terraces).

Yangshuo Mountain Retreat wordt omgeven door indrukwekkende Karst-bergen en ligt aan de rand van de rivier de Yulong. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid. The location and the outside appearance of Yangshuo Mountain Retreat almost impossibly beautiful. It is situated a stone’s throw from the Yulong River in a valley that is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. Near-vertical towering karst terrain spires line the valley on either side and tower directly behind the resort itself. The resort provides free bicycles which are better maintained that those that I have found for free in other hotels and there are free helmets and bicycle locks provided. The bike ride up the valley for a mile or so along a wide brick paved path that runs along the banks of the river offers a parade of vertical peaks on either side of the river(there are more extensive bike routes listed online but these involved sharing the road with busy auto and motor scooter traffic and I,for one, did not think the risk of an orthopedic, or head, injury was worth it). The Yulong river valley is lined with small farms and has so many gorgeous plants(from banana trees to rice ready for harvest and local wild flowers), that I chose to walk it several times to appreciate the fine detail one misses when biking. The exterior of the resort itself is very charming with exuberant blooming bougainvillea lining the path and framing the verandas of each room. The interiors and plumbing are somewhat old fashioned but comfortable and clean and the rooms have a small veranda with chairs and a small table looking out onto a stunning bougainvillea-framed view of the river and mountains. The staff were friendly and went out off their way to be helpful. They welcomed us on our first day with a complimentary pot of ginger tea and a little plate of cookies. The ginger tea was so good we went back three times during our stay for a pot of the same tea. The restaurant was cozy and the chinese dishes were good(we did not try their western menu).

Het Li River Resort ligt aan de westelijke oever van de Li-rivier en biedt een ontspannen toevluchtsoord in Chinese stijl. Het biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de Li-rivier en het Karst-gebergte. Li River resort is een echte aanrader! De medewerkers zijn aardig en hulpvaardig. Het gebouw is luxe ingericht, de bedden en sanitair zijn fijn, de ligging is prachtig, kortom we hebben genoten! (En als je met een Engels sprekende gids meegaat, vraag naar Anna!)

Het Riverside Retreat Hotel ligt tussen bamboebossen en landerijen en kijkt uit op de prachtige rivier de Li. Prachtige locatie met super behulpzaam personeel. Spreken ook erg goed Engels en ze helpen je graag overal mee. Het avondeten is ook heel erg lekker.

Het Aroma Tea House (Former Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel) ligt in het centrum van de stad, recht tegenover Twee Rivieren en Vier Meren. Amazing view of the lake and park. Very quiet place with walkable distance to the sites in the city centre. Very beautiful clean rooms and thoughtful staff

Guilin Village Creek Inn is gelegen in Guilin, op 15 minuten lopen van Reed Flute Cave, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Greag hotel in a good location. The staff was super friendly and helpful! Good English speakers and were able to help us book awesome trips! Thanks so much!
