Great place, very clean, comfortable rooms, even though there is no parking at the hotel, there was plenty of parking spaces close to the entrance. Lot's of markets and restaurants nearby.

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. The location is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is located in a cute little village, walking distance from the reed flute caves and there are many options for nice walks along the river. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. We also did a tour organised by the hotel staff and it was superb.

Featuring free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue, The Apsara Lodge offers accommodation in Yangshuo. Guests can enjoy free daily afternoon tea and daily guided riverside bike tour. My room had a balcony with a lovely view of the pool and mountains. In-room massages are available and very affordable. The breakfast was good, as was the restauarant food in general. Free water and afternoon "tea" (snacks). The pool area was very nice and provided shade at most times of the day. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave great advice for what to see and do. Not so many western options for breakfast but the fried eggs were OUTSTANDING!

Guilin Village Creek Inn

Set in Guilin, 1.3 km from Reed Flute Cave, Guilin Village Creek Inn offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.
