Set in Guilin and with Guilin Railway Station reachable within 600 metres, Travel light inn Guilin offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and... The hotel is located within a walking distance to the Guilin Railway station and most of the attractions in the city. The beds were very comfortable, room clean. Staff speak English and was very helpful with booking all attractions, taxis etc. Very good breakfast. You get great quality for low price. So far, one of the best places we have stayed in China. Highly recommended!

Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. A group of 3 friends traveling in China. We have found our stay at Bamboo Lead extremely pleasant, the staff was very nice and very helpful. Small and cozy western and Chinese breakfast, in a room with an amazing view on the mountains. The crepes were stunning! Also highly recommend the room service, we had cheese and cold cuts boards and the quality was very good (especially for China standards) and the price very good. Also very good selection of wine and their prices. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy, we have highly appreciated the use of recyclable and eco friendly tools, which is very rare in China. Very good taste also in the choice of furnitures. The hotel is a few minutes bike ride away from the center of Yangshuo, yet in a better, less touristy and more secluded area to enjoy some rest and peace. Highly recommended!

Offering river views and tour tickets for Guilin or Yangshuo, Riverside Inn Guilin is a tranquil hideaway ideally located in the centre of Guilin. The Riverside Inn is close to the main train station (1.1 km away) next to the river and walking path that connects main point of interest to see. The owner gave me grate advice what to see and how to reach different sites. His english is great. Would recommend it :)

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. The location and the outside appearance of Yangshuo Mountain Retreat almost impossibly beautiful. It is situated a stone’s throw from the Yulong River in a valley that is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. Near-vertical towering karst terrain spires line the valley on either side and tower directly behind the resort itself. The resort provides free bicycles which are better maintained that those that I have found for free in other hotels and there are free helmets and bicycle locks provided. The bike ride up the valley for a mile or so along a wide brick paved path that runs along the banks of the river offers a parade of vertical peaks on either side of the river(there are more extensive bike routes listed online but these involved sharing the road with busy auto and motor scooter traffic and I,for one, did not think the risk of an orthopedic, or head, injury was worth it). The Yulong river valley is lined with small farms and has so many gorgeous plants(from banana trees to rice ready for harvest and local wild flowers), that I chose to walk it several times to appreciate the fine detail one misses when biking. The exterior of the resort itself is very charming with exuberant blooming bougainvillea lining the path and framing the verandas of each room. The interiors and plumbing are somewhat old fashioned but comfortable and clean and the rooms have a small veranda with chairs and a small table looking out onto a stunning bougainvillea-framed view of the river and mountains. The staff were friendly and went out off their way to be helpful. They welcomed us on our first day with a complimentary pot of ginger tea and a little plate of cookies. The ginger tea was so good we went back three times during our stay for a pot of the same tea. The restaurant was cozy and the chinese dishes were good(we did not try their western menu).

Li River Resort is situated on the west bank of Li River and offers a relaxing retreat in Chinese-style accommodation. This boutique hotel is professionally run, with excellent service provided by all staff. It's quiet and offered lovely views from my river balcony room. The rooms are beautifully decorated and I loved the decor and details in the room.

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. Everything was great, especially the food and the people who are working at the Hotel! We will come back!

Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. Amazing view of the lake and park. Very quiet place with walkable distance to the sites in the city centre. Very beautiful clean rooms and thoughtful staff
