Location is quiet and a shirt walk or shuttle into the main town. Staff we very friendly and the restaurant served western food (which one may crave after a while)

Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. The location is very quiet and relaxing. The hotel is located in a cute little village, walking distance from the reed flute caves and there are many options for nice walks along the river. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff very helpful and friendly. We also did a tour organised by the hotel staff and it was superb.

Featuring free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue, The Apsara Lodge offers accommodation in Yangshuo. Guests can enjoy free daily afternoon tea and daily guided riverside bike tour. My room had a balcony with a lovely view of the pool and mountains. In-room massages are available and very affordable. The breakfast was good, as was the restauarant food in general. Free water and afternoon "tea" (snacks). The pool area was very nice and provided shade at most times of the day. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. Tucked away from the city, relaxing, nice views. restaurant and pool available. Beautiful bike ride into town. Staff were so helpful and really made our stay feel special. Very close to a bus stop to Xingping, which was convenient! 15 min bike ride to the city of Yangshuo, bikes and e-bikes available to rent.

El Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, abans conegut com Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, es troba al centre de la ciutat, just davant de 2 rius i 4 llacs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They gave great advice for what to see and do. Not so many western options for breakfast but the fried eggs were OUTSTANDING!

Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.
