If you are able to book in advance and get great rates, it is definitely value for money, especially the buffet breakfast at Forte. Well equipped, very clean, easy check-in and check-out, and host was very responsive and helpful via text message. The hot tub and public BBQs were fun additions to our stay. Easy drive from here to all the attractions of the area. Note that one bedroom has bunk beds. One couple in our party tried them one night, then switched to the sofa bed in the living room. They said that was quite comfortable.

The lodge was so cozy and beautiful and had amazing views. The glamping tents were the perfect size, comfortable and so cozy! It was amazing to be able to stay in a such a secluded and beautiful area of kananaskis. The food was incredible and you never go hungry! Met some wonderful people as well, both staff and other guests. There’s no wifi in the tents which is great, and wifi in the lodge if you need it. The service was fantastic. Overall, I had the best stay. I would come back here time and time again.

Nakiska Ski Resort is located 1.5 km from this Kananaskis hostel. A shared kitchen and barbecue facilities are provided on site. Free snowshoe rental is offered to all guests. Very comfortable and clean hostel! Friendly staff that was willing to help with any needs as well. Excellent location for the ski area.

Set at the foot of Lady McDonald mountain, this luxury country inn offers an outdoor hot tub and an optional 3-course breakfast. The rooms were small but very cozy. They serve excellent breakfast to your room. It’s nice to have a bath at the hottub after a day full of hiking. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the money.
