Very convenient location, good dive guides and comfortable bed. Most importantly the food is absolutely amazing! The best we've had in any homestay in Indonesia. Always fresh, plentiful and delicious. They catered to our dietary preferences, too.

Very good position, the reef just in front of the residence is really incredible, you'll see lots of turtles doing snorkeling
The dive center is really fantastic, very prepared dive instructors, Merpy is the best!
The food is so much good, lots of different recipes.

A gem of a hotel. Comfortable rooms. Great food. Foo was very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. My wife had a dive with Yorry who was very professional. The diving was spectacular. I snorkelled and it was the best snorkelling I’ve had in Indonesia. So many turtles. We’re planning our return.

Fantastic 5-night stay with Dion and his family, in almost-beachfront property within main Bunaken village. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, with private bathroom and a small sitting area with chair(s) and clothes drying rack, just outside my room, all within access to wifi internet. The beach, which is 25m away, is kept quite clean and a great place to unwind after the dives or before dinner. Three delicious meals are served at set times each day, the menu including rice/noodle, vegetables, and a protein meat/fish dish ... every day slightly different. Great setup to meet the other guests and get to know Dion and his family. I organized 8 dives with Dion's affiliated Blue Shark Diving shop, and each outing was very special. And lastly, Dion himself was very helpful in organizing the next leg of my journey ... he helped book reliable, clean private cars, and tours for my next trajectory to the Togean Islands. In summary, a very memorable stay. Thank you!

Excellent food, lots of fruit, good variety, different dishes every meal. Fish was very fresh and often accompanied by a photo of the actual fish. Stephen and Missi made us feel like part of the family. Stephen arranged for car and boat transportation from the airport and later to Tangkoko. Also for a snorkeling boat. Very attentive and interested in our welfare.

They upgraded us to a sea view bungalow which was spacious and comfortable. The adjoining bathroom was open to the sky for the shower (the rest had a roof 🙂)
It’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Indonesia-very quiet at this time of year (end of February)
The staff were all very friendly and helpful

Island of Bunaken is very accessible on a short boat ride from Manado harbor. The island itself is very quiet, almost boring if you come looking for lively nightlife or bars & restaurants. The main attraction are the coral reefs, still relatively pristine with its marine life ecosystem ... let's hope that it can continue to stay that way.

The island is very beautiful, a place from which to go diving and snorkling. There is everything for everyone. Unfortunately, the plastic is at home in a national park! Tourist activity has started to destroy the coral reef in some places. In a few years Bunaken park will be only in name. It is a recommended place for those who practice diving, less a place to relax.

Dive operation Celebes Divers made me feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to assist my diving. At 78 years old and with a scuba career of nearly 50 years, Dive leader Ali and the other dive team members plus the boat crew did all they could to assist me in exiting the water, given my knee problems, by me doffing my equipment in the water, crew members lifting it up onto the deck, so I could climb aboard unencumbered.
Dived an interesting Japanese freighter wreck sunk by the Americans in World War 2 and several reefs chock a block with fish & corals. Well done Celebes Divers staff!

Airport transfers must be arranged through the resort.
Airport transfers must be arranged through the resort. Don't even attempt to do this yourself. You have to love swimming, snorkelling and or diving to make the most of your stay. The resort is in the bunaken national park - so the sites are pretty amazing. There is a spa to enjoy after the relaxing dives. Food is great so no need to drag snack along. Not mush to buy - so make sure you have the essentials! Enjoy a fab experience!

Loved Bunaken, stayed one week on either side of the island in full board resorts which was good because both sides are so different. Many good dive boats/teams and great snorkeling from the beach or go out with a dive boat. The small town deserves some time spent there and next time I'd stay in town for a few days as well.

If you are looking at Bunaken as a holiday destination you are probably already aware of what an amazing place it is for diving or snorkelling, lots of healthy coral and sea life including turtles, rays, small sharks and a never ending variety of fish.
It's quite a quiet location which is perfect if you are looking for peace. Bunaken is a very small island so there isn't a town where you can go partying or anything. you are likely to spend the majority of your time in the resort although you can go and explore a little if you wish.
This is my second stay at Kuda Laut; I spent 8 days last year and decided to return for more diving and underwater photography for 9 days. I enjoyed again both the hotel facilities and the Bunaken reef and wall dives. The dive boats are well equipped and the dive guides well trained and safety conscious. My special thanks to Luther, my guide in 14 dives, and to the very friendly personnel of the resort. The only negative thing is the many hours of flight from New. York. I hope to return again.
Bunaken Cha Cha is the best choice for enjoying Bunaken National Marine Park.
We enjoyed so much staying there, especially breakfast and dinner time with the hosts (Raf & Rei), they are nice guys, we chatted a lot.
Room is cozy, sweet and spacious. Bed is comfy and clean.
Full board meals are delicious, cooked by talented chef.
We enjoyed the snorkeling with Cha Cha's guide (Mul), he brought us to good snorkeling's spots.
An amazing stay, this is heaven on earth in Bunaken! The resort staff was superbly accommodating, making sure everything was done superbly and all our wishes were taken care of. Everyone is superbly kind, the resort is gorgeous, the diving is one of the best I have experienced... I am not doing this review justice in this short summary, because it really was so amazingly unreal. Don't think twice, just book and enjoy!
Good, freshly cooked food every day. Very clean. Various snorkeling and diving spots close by. High quality diving and snorkeling equipment for rent. They have some of the lowest prices for diving and snorkeling on the island. Laundry service was good and reliable. Would recommend it to experienced divers. They organize decent snorkeling trips as well. It's a beautiful and quiet location, but still very central.
The food was excellent. Primarily Indonesian food that was delicious. Excellent dive sites close to the accommodation. The house reef is a great snorkelling location. The transfers to and from the island were seamless. Willeke and Jerry are doing their best to minimise the impact of their property and their guests on the environment and the National Park that is adjacent to their property.
It’s a small resort nicely integrated into the small village.
The personal care of the whole team around Sarah was a great experience and the food unique and the best we ever had enjoyed.
The common meals on the beach are beautiful and you can chat wit the other guests at the dinner.
The house riff is also on a very good condition.
A lovely stay, Siladen really is a dream for those who like snorkeling, and at this particular hotel the house reef is incredible, suitable even for children and teenagers! The hotel was very attractive, the rooms great, and the food was super tasty. On a short break from Singapore, it was THE best, I will be back!
We really loved this guesthouse. It is the best value for money in the island by far. Well located near Blue Shark, cheapest diving center, the rooms are comfortable, best for we are in Indonesia and great quantity, and the host are just amazing. We strongly recommend this guesthouse. 🙏 thanks for everything
The location was perfect. Pretty comfortable beds, hot water shower & air conditioned. The hosts were very easy going persons and always available. After tasting Sabrina's (owner) food we decided to eat at the hotel itself. She is just a lovely person and a very very good cook.
it really is great value. the rooms are big and clean and the ocean views are great. the place has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. the diving at Bunaken really is out of this world, so if you’re looking for world class diving on a budget then this is a great option.
Very good place with a great staff. They really make you feel like home. The food is also great. Only 1 minute walk from the beach. The island is also great and the diving is very good. I planned to stay one week and ended up staying 3 weeks
the owners and staff were very attentive and
helped us with the transport to and from the hotel.
we loved the proximity to the beach, the food,
snorkeling and diving, and the sustainable culture
of the hotel.
warm helpful hosts, beautiful place, great food (a little pricey but you’re on a remote island and it was delicious!) Amazing diving with really nice dive master. the reefs are vibrant
Incredible meals, every one of them.
Beautifully landscaped, clean and simple bungalows.
Dive equipment great, dive master very knowledgeable.
Diving is incredible
