Great location, 20min walk from centre. Next to a beach ( just across the road). Very clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and made some amendments to suit the group.
Will reccomend

Everything about this Guest House is excellent. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, superb breakfasts, friendly and hospitable owner, 10 minute walk to Clacton Pier and 5 minutes to the beach. Plenty of parking either on the drive or on the road. Would absolutely definitely recommend.

although I was only there for a short time I enjoyed my stay. the town was close to my hotel and it was clean and tidy. there is plenty to do if you have children. I had a meal at the local chip shop which I believe was called geo on the main high ST. very good food and service. I visited some shops and the staff in the shops where in good spirits and helped the customers.

We just wanted a couple of quiet nights away,
For a family with young children who are on a budget it’s a good way to get away for a few days. Weather plays a big part but the beach isn’t bad, the pier and amusements can easily kill a rainy afternoon plenty of places to eat and drink Fairly cheap and basic seaside town but it’ll keep the kids happy

I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town.
I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town. The garden walk at the seafront is beautiful any time of the year; there are plenty of seats. There are loads of reasonable restaurants in Clacton and lots of activities for children. There is a very good Wetherspoon pub near the seafront. A good range of shops.

Vastly improved, very friendly, some excellent restaurants and food. Great beaches that are sandy ! I would not spend time on the pier, but its been restored very well, and huge gaming area and rides etc.

Clacton not too bad.
Clacton not too bad. But Jaywick where the caravan was is terrible, down and out people everywhere and run down properties. Fly tipping on the road to site.
We had two nights but only stayed one night as couldn’t wait to get home
The breakfast was exceptional. Cereal, fruit, tea, toast, juice X3 options, full English breakfast and much more. Cleanliness was very very clean.
Ideal location 3 minute walk to Clacton sea front.
We had our 3 small chihuahuas with us they all behaved well and the room was large enough to accommodate them.
We will be returning in May for my mums birthday. Thank you again chudleigh for a lovely stay :).
Fantastic area, short walk to lovely beach, was just looking for a hotel room too and it just popped up, much better than a hotel but hadn't considered an apartment as thought it would be more expensive ( it wasn't, it was cheaper) Very clean lovely decor and everything to a very high standard, in fact it was brilliant, and if it just had the few things sorted out below I would give it 6 stars.
Excellent accessible room with good walk-in shower. Restaurant is very good with a varied menu. It was both mine and my wife's birthday and we had dinner there. The hotel and staff surprised us with a lovely Happy Birthday tray with cakes. Only down side was the prices in the bar, I think £1.50 for a packet of crisps is a little over the top. Other than that an enjoyable stay in Clacton.
The hotel for us was extremely well positioned as it lies between both sets of relatives that we were visiting, enabling us to walk to both and not have to use the car. Parking was good and free, so this was good. Breakfast and evening meals were also very good, except a minor complaint on the last morning where the poached eggs at breakfast were stone cold.
Very clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast that caters also for vegans.
Karen and Kevin very very friendly and helpful hosts, we were able to check in early and left the luggage there after check out which was very helpful.
I would most definately recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Clacton-on-sea.
Once again thank you!
Very close to the pier, fantastic walk along the coast to Holland on Sea and on to Walton on the Naze..
Have never seen so many beautiful, colourful and different beach huts.
You won't need your car. Just leave it in front of the hotel.
Quiet room, you can hear the sea gulls in the morning...lovely! Hot shower! Relaxing!
A great place to stay to enjoy Clacton seafront it is minutes from beach and the pier. It is connected to a great restaurant called My Big Fat Greek Taverna. My only issue is that it’s right next to a Wetherspoons, so at night my partner and I could hear people talking and sometimes shouting until quite late.
Room was large and spacious, bed comfortable and clean. Only problem was the shower too small .Breakfast was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was ok we found a restaurant nearby but on the whole found Clacton-On-Sea a bit tacky.
Fresh fruit, cereals, milk tea and coffee bread and jams all supplied in the room and topped up each day pleasant owners who are prepared to supply any local information required clean tidy and ample room and only 5 mins walk from seafront
Lovely staff in reception couldnt do enough. Very quiet location and room was very comfortable and clean. Would recommend the hotel. Easy parking and few minutes drive to Clacton seaside and great access to shops, two minute walk.
Very clean, good location and price. Breakfast absolutely fantastic with fresh made juices.
The most important, this is dog friendly hotel.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Will definitely come back again.
I actually liked the rustic feel of the hotel, but I can see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. It was incredibly close to pubs, the beach, restaurants, I loved that. The staff were friendly too.
Nothing to do with the rental accommodation
Liked being in Clacton on sea, as it’s a favourite of the whole family, as we visit several times a year as it has special memories for us
