Arriving in the later afternoon, we were warmly welcomed by Orazio who, with justified pride and attentiveness, introduced us to the premises; to the family's commitment to both the ways and means of providing for the comfort of their visitors; and to their guests feeling completely at home in the nourishing surroundings of family-farm life. And while the ancient "threshing floor" of Trulli Sull'Aia speaks of generations of gratefully shared life - of both perseverance and of bounty - now in their care, every where reflected in the work of hands-and-hearts is Maria Teressa's and Ozario's commitment to continuing to tend to the past and present life-sustaining traditions of shared family hospitality. It is an apartment in a beautiful Masseria from 1700 greatly preserved, in the middle of an olive trees field, and in a great position. It is in the right in the middle of an area with lots of things to do like Aleberobello, amazing beaches, polignano al mare, cisternino, grotte di castellana, ostuni etc..... All of them at 10 max 20 minutes distance by car. The owner Antonella is an amazing host who is very detailed oriented, and passionate about preserving the originality of the masseria. Always ready to help and make you feel comfortable at home. Being italian, I know what is the feeling of staying in a real spot, and this was definitely a real local experience. In the morning there is a great breakfast served by Alessandra, who is super nice and also gives you lots of tips and information. You can buy olive oil made with their own olives. My daughter liked it that much that did not even want to go to the beach anymore, but staying in the masseria with her new friend: Antonella's father dog Lola. At 3 minutes from the masseria there is a little village, Pezze di greco, which has some nice restaurants and all the relevant commerce you will need for your stay. Cisternino is great for the night and is 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend and will definitely come back there next time in puglia.

The external side of the trullo is such nice to take pictures. It was very clean and the lady was waiting for our late arrival (22.40) Very good parking space close and easy to carry your luggage inside.

We marvelled at the sheer beauty of the property. Our rooms were amazing and the dining area was memorable. Nonna's freshly made cakes for breakfast were gorgeous as was the rest of wide range of food. The outdoor pool was a wonderful place to relax after a day's touring around the beautiful nearby towns and villages. There was a really nice family feel to the running of the place. Nothing was too much trouble to Rino our host.

The property is serene and beautiful set amongst a countryside landscape. The host, Michele provided detailed recommendations for local visits and was most helpful in every matter. The breakfasts were not only excellent but served in a garden of tranquility. (An indoor dining area was also available.). Michele also offers a dining experience for an additional charge where he prepares an outstanding presentation of regional foods as well as foods grown on the property. Michele is the perfect host, so friendly and with a splendid personality easy to engage with. Lastly, by automobile so many beautiful towns and sites can be visited in a matter of minutes so the location is perfect. The nearest town of Cisternino (less than 5 minutes away from the city center) was one of our favorite sites to visit during our stay.

We loved staying at the property , it is in a great location for day trips and the pool was amazing to come back to after a day sight seeing. We loved staying in a Trullo and had a really authentic experience. The owners could not have been more helpful, went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. We would highly recommend and will be back.
