Our whole stay felt very warm. The staff, the room, and the food exceeded all of our expectations. We had a great time doing the game drives. The reserve is so beautiful, with great animals roaming around happily. I think the highlight of the stay was the staff and the service so much warmth and love. Definitely the peak of our honeymoon trip. Oh yeah and the food is so so good!!!

Mossel Bay is a beautiful city, not overcrowded, it makes a perfect vacation to relax and recharge. The only challenge is public transport, Uber & Bolt are almost non-existent, it's mostly private taxis that you have to call and they are always busy, making the waiting time a bit longer. I would recommend you come with your own car or you hire one, you'll enjoy the place even more without transport inconveniences.
Overall, it's a beautiful place with more than enough to offer visitors.

Charming with some lovely boutique shops.
Charming with some lovely boutique shops. At the far end a great hiking opportunity around st Blaize point followed by a refreshing dip in the sea gully. Unfortunately couldn’t do the zip line as it was too windy. Nor the shark diving for the same reason.
Great padel court on the sea front.
Great bagels at jacks on the Main Street
Dinner at gannet was good.
Amazing bbq in the harbour and very reasonable.
Try the oyster shots next door.
Don’t visit the aquarium!

Visiting the ATKV near by in Hartenbos has great facilities for both adults and children. A visit to the Langeberg Mall is a must to shopping and dining.
A visit to Diaz Beach with its long stretch of white sand and a visit to the Zipline which is the biggest over the ocean in the whole world at the Point is a must

.
2 restaurants we used were kingfisher and café gannet which was exceptional in everything.
One of the best self catering accommodations in Mossel Bay. The accomodation is central, has everything you need when traveling and peaceful. This hidden gem is perfect for long stays as well as romantic getaways. Breathtaking views that can be enjoyed on the balcony with your morning coffee 😍 The attention to detail by the host was truly appreciated! WiFi has minimal glitches and the bed was super comfortable!! Coffee lovers will enjoy the Nespresso machine and complementary coffee voucher for the coffee shop opposite the road ❤️
We had a good room, convenient for the restaurant and breakfast area, and the pool. Staff were friendly and cheerful. And the breakfast was fantastic. We had a very good meal in the Gannet Restaurant one evening. It was a short walk to the Old Harbour and beach. And it was a two minute walk to the really interesting Mossel Bay museum where we spent an enjoyable few hours. We had parking immediately outside the hotel entrance. We also did their gin tasting one evening - highly recommended!
Amazing view, beautifully renovated with wonderful taste, everything top quality - from towels to products in the rooms. I felt like I was staying in a lovely gspa/hotel. Owners are fabulous - so helpful & very interesting . They prepared an amazing breakfast too. By far one the nicest place I stayed in on this SA trip. This guest house is modern, clean, and very comfortable too. I had a private balcony from my room with the most amazing view of Mossel Bay.
Andrea is very welcoming and provides recommendations on things to do in the area. The room is not self catering, you are however provided with essentials should you bring home food (takeaways) and want to warm it, the room has a coffee station, bar fridge and microwave with crockery and cutlery. Stunning place, will highly recommend, wish we stayed longer.
The hotel room was very spacious. We had an entire apartment to ourselves, with a TV Viewing Room, a dining room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms. We had our own deck with a personal hottub, and there was another hottub on the deck overlooking the beautiful beach. The breakfast was also fantastic!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Charming property, impeccable cleanliness, very comfortable bed, thoughtful extras, and the warm welcome makes this THE place to stay in Mossel Bay. Marilyn’s warm hospitality and super delicious dinner and breakfast made our stay such a pleasure.
Highly recommended!
The room was spacious and everything we needed was available in the room.
On arrival and departure the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely like to stay there again the surroundings gave us a real holiday vibe/experience.
Thanks Point Village Hotel and Self Catering 👍
Staff was very efficient & helpful. Apartment is well furnished and larger than most. Beds are super comfy. Sea view, pool view and water park view is exceptional. Location is perfect, on the beach but close to the malls, garages etc
Would definitely recommend.
The view over the Habour was awesome.
We also visit the Light tower restaurant with the view over Mossel bay that was breathtaking.
We also went to Hartenbos and walk on the Beach.
We also went to Sedgefield and Knysna which was a wonderfull visit.
Comfortable hotel with direct access to Mossel Bay beach. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Modern rooms of high standard; nice facilities; terrace and common rooms with panorama views. Very good breakfast with some special treats on the menu.
Lewis is a fantastic host. We liked the general state of the hotel as well as the decor. Mix and match that seems to work well.
Ideally a 2-3 day stay will do more justice to what is offered.
Certainly my next stop in Mossel Bay
The staff! Everyone was so nice. The food! Our meal was delicious. The hotel! All the rooms are so interesting and fun to look at. Definitely a cool experience.
The property is well located, clean and has all the facilities you need for a great stay in Mossel Bay. The host was friendly and helped in all ways possible.
Staff were very friendly. Located on the beach for easy access. Food for breakfast was adequate. Meals served were lovely. Not anything else positive to say.
Breakfast was reasonable. Could maybe have a bigger variety or range to choose from.
The location of the Hotel was peaceful and quiet with a awesome view.
