Holland Hotel Free Parking Jersey City, hotel in Jersey City

The Holland Hotel, a Jersey City hotel is 5.0 km drive from New York City. It features complimentary Wi-Fi. Guest rooms at The Holland Hotel include a cable TV.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The bed was great and the room was very spacious - and very, very clean. I like that they don't clean the room every day - honestly, who needs that. The breakfast was plentiful and had an excellent selection of tasty pastries. I'm getting hungry just thinking back to it. I chose this because it was cheaper than New York, near(ish) a PATH station, had a microwave so I could keep food costs down, and had a supermarket nearby...

Hyatt House Jersey City, hotel in Jersey City

Situated in Jersey City's Exchange Place district, Hyatt House Jersey City is 180 metres from the PATH train station and 400 metres from the NY Waterway ferry, providing easy access to New York City.

Fantastic location for visiting NYC as PATH is only 50m from hotel, which takes you to the main hub at WTC. There is also a good shopping mall at Newport Centre which is only 10mins on the tram which the station is located next to hotel entrance. Brilliant rooftop bar to enjoy the New York skyline. The area around the hotel is superb as there is a pier and various walkways. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting NYC.

Canopy By Hilton Jersey City Arts District, hotel in Jersey City

Ideally located in the centre of Jersey City, Canopy By Hilton Jersey City Arts District offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge.

Canopy by Hilton, Jersey City is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in a long time. Stayed for longer duration than most travelers ie 9 nights. On work/leisure Solo Some key highlights of superb advantages: 1- PATH Station is just less than 5 mins walk 2- Sprove Market for food, Buffet meals on week days at reasonable prices with plenty of healthy options, greens is just at the same PATH station 3- Whole Foods large outlet is 10 mins walk 4- I booked with Breakfast option...has good choice of breads, eggs, oatmeal and add ins and fruits. May not be a big spread of choices, but what is available is excellent and healthy. 5- Canopy has a good Gym 24 hrs, with 2-3 Ellipticals and 3-4 treadmills and Weights 6- Canopy has a nice fire place sitting area near the restaurant/dining for those wanting to spend leisure time reading or meeting friends etc. Though I travelled solo, found many families with small kids, very family friendly hotel! 7- Manhattan by PATH to 33rd Street takes only 20-25 mins. so very convenient - Rooms are large and spacious and modern design for baths, wardrobe etc for longer stay 8- Grove Street 5-6 mins walk has lot of Indian restaurant food options like Bricklane Curry, Amiya further bit other than Sprove Market and Whole Foods. In addition Mexican and other cuisine restaurants around 9- Very safe area around to walk mornings or evenings 10- Staff is excellent and courteous with good service, Check In was smooth 11- Room Service is done every day unless one can request not be done. That is unusual and surprisingly pleasant for American hotels where most are based on demand or request, not a given 12- Rooms have Coffee maker/tea bags, milk which is refreshed daily by room service. Overall an excellent hotel with great experience and wonderful service and staff

Jersey City - I would stay in Newport, Jersey City again.

Jersey City - I would stay in Newport, Jersey City again. I've stayed NYC but would only stay in Jersey City in the future. Jersey City is clean, modern and reflects the calmer side of life rather than getting caught up in the noise of NYC. Great transport links to NYC by PATH, ferry and bus. The shopping mall had some great restaurants and eateries offering rustic bread sandwiches, salad bowls and ramen bowls. There's an Indian grocery store on 10th Street offering THE VERY BEST Indian food I've ever tasted. It's a must do while you're in Newport.

We decided to stay in jersey city after a day in New York as it was very quick travel and got us closer to Liberty State Park for the next day. To find a hotel with free parking and access to our car was key. Not having to drag your suitcase down the streets from your payed parking spot was a nice luxury to have. Jersey city is only 6 miles from midtown Manhattan and 6 miles from Liberty state park. After the statue of liberty, Jersey city has a KPot which is a must try or go if you've been before! AYCE!!!!

If you want to visit Manhattan every day the PATH (basically a metro, going to Jersey) is the way to go if you will use public transport. BUT! If you are a foreigner check first how the foreign credit/debit cards work (or better to say how they are not) with the ticket wending machines.... they are funny things and usually do not accept cash.

We actually visited NYC for most of our stay, but it was a nice convenient option to balance the cost of staying right in the city, and easy access into the city. The people in the area (beyond just the hotel staff) were nice, friendly, and helpful. Enjoyed the stay!

For me as a visitor from Europe Jersey City is the perfect place to stay when visiting NYC. On one hand you have this marvelous view of downtown Manhattan - on the other hand you have a lot of shopping options at the nearby mall within Jersey City. Taking a boat trip to Manhattan and back is wonderful. Jersey City is a lot less stressful than Manhattan as a place to stay overnight. I love it here.

It was a great cheaper alternative to staying in NYC.

It was a great cheaper alternative to staying in NYC. We were going to a concert at the Brooklyn Steel pier so with traffic it was about 40 minutes to get there on a Saturday night, but we hung out in Brooklyn for a while before the show. In the morning, we went to Liberty State Park and saw the Statue of Liberty and a 911 memorial (you can take the ferry from this park to the Statue of Liberty) The bathrooms at this park were very well kept and the whole park was big and beautiful. On the way back home we stopped at Wonder Bagels which was crowded but worth the wait. Lots of shops around and it looks like a lot is being done to enhance the area.

Clean and large room. Very comfortable bed and good drawer and hanging wardrobe storage space. Good lighting and good air con. Good sized clean bathroom and over bath shower, though bath tub shallow and not suitable for a good relaxing soak. The hotel was in a great convenient location, easy short 2 min walk to both the Path and the Light Rail network. Giving 20 minute access to New York city and up and down the Jersey City neighbourhood respectively. 3 minute walk to Hudson shorelione with spectacular City Views of New York skyline.

For this price it is the best option to explore NYC. Price includes breakfast (what wasn't written, but always great surprise), it's basic but ok. There is also free shuttle bus from and to Newark Airport 7.30 AM-10.30 PM - just ask the hotel about that Hotel is just 5 minutes from PATH station, from where you can easly get to Manhattan. Room was spacious and comfortable. It's not new, but clean and walls were refreshed. Wifi was working properly.

Clean room and bathroom, welcoming reception staff, very diligent cleaning staff. We liked the pool and the jacuzzi. Proximity to the PATH station was a great time saver. We were flying out of Newark and proximity to the airport as well to the NYC was the decisive factor for us to choose this hotel. The spacious well furnished lobby offered a great space to make short calls, just relax or wait for family members enjoying the swimming pool.

The location was great and the view of Manhattan was amazing. The walkway around the waterfront and the shopping and restaurants nearby were unbeatable. Having the Path train right next door was icing on the cake. The lobby, bar and food choices were super convenient and all you would need. The room and facilities were spotless and modern. Great place to stay while visiting Manhattan or Jersey City. Would highly recommend it.

The hotel is close to the PATH station (~10 minute walk) and 1 stop from New York. There are some restaurants close by and a Bank of America ATM. The rooms were decent, but we were out visiting most of the time so we used them to sleep and shower. There was also a fridge, a cooking stove and some plates, glasses and cutlery available.
