What a beautiful introduction to Peru! Facilities were great and food incredible. The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Pisac is a must for the Incan ruins. They are vast and well-maintained. The views of the valley are amazing. Take a taxi up to the top and hike down.
The town itself is a bit unusual. It's got a hippie vibe. Eco blended with wellness and expats. it's very different than other towns we visited. It's also a very sleepy town. Nothing opens before 8:00, even the coffee shops, and many places open at 10:00. The restaurants aren't open that late either.

The ruins were expansive and high up.
The ruins were expansive and high up. The 1.5 hour hike down from the ruins was one of the highlights of our trip. We ate at a Pizza place recommended by the hotel. It was great. Did not see a lot of other restaurant options. The town has some cool narrow cobble stone alleys and a nice plaza. We took a collectivo to Cusco on our way out of town. A great, cheap way to travel. Were looking for one up to the ruins but did not find one because we were at the wrong end of the bridge over the river. You need to walk across the bridge to catch the collectivos. One night in town was about right. Ended up in a slightly more expensive taxi for the ride up to the ruins. Would not recommend hiking up to the ruins, only down!

The walking through Pisac ruins is a fantastic experience - you should go by taxi to the upper entrance and walk down to the exit at the city center. The city itself is small, but very nice, with many good silver and crafts shops, and a fine botanic garden. The stay at the Florencio Casa Hacienda and dining at Cuchara de Palo restaurant were added delights

Such a calm town after the hustle and bustle and traffic of Cusco. !! The archaeological site is the most complete and intact site in the country.
Eat at Osteria Antica, just a short walk from the hotel, on the same street. Wood fired oven pizza. The best pizza crust we have tasted. n Apparently, locals from as far away as Ollantaytambo and Urabamba make the trip to eat here.
This is a beautiful place to stay, Nelida and Daniel do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and have a great time. They helped us plan our days and I had a great day visiting the market and finishing with cooking class together with Daniel who cooks delicious Peruvian food! The place is a little bit outside the center, with a garden where it is possible to do yoga, relax and whatch the stars over the mountain tops. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Nélida and Daniel for making our stay very special and rememberable!
The hotel is only 15 mins away from Pisac and Maribel will offer you always a ride. There are also ways to go to Casa Oren on foot. The views are amazing and the house is just beautiful. You can see that all has been well-planned and done with love. We had Nigel's chicken the last day, and we have to recommend it!!! It might be a good idea to order it in advance.
There are also lots of opportunities for trekking and sightseeing, and in the evening you can just sit in the bathtub to watch the clear sky full of stars!
The hostel is run by a lovely family. They were so respectful and friendly and most of all outstandingly supportive in whatever way possible. I kept on going back and also extending my stay. It is right in the centre of Pisac and I wasn't so sure about staying right there, but their garden really provides a lot of privacy and enables you to disconnect from the busy town... perfect combination :-)
It’s a place where you feel welcomed from the very beginning. The staff is amazing, they are always inclusive and continuously helpfull.
The hostel is situated between majestic mountains and in a quiet area. There is a river trail just by the house, it takes you to a waterfall and eventually to the backside of the ruins. The short walk to the center of Pisac is breathtaking as well.
From the moment we got to the hotel Ivan greeted us and gave a comprehensive tour of the place and let me just say the property and facilities are all amazing! The beds are insanely comfy and cozy and the views alone are worth every penny. If you get the chance to talk to Ivan his life story is fascinating. If your looking for a place to stay in Pisac stay here you won’t regret it.
Great stay for a family vacation. We stayed here with our 5 year old and my parents. The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It is conveniently located but still quite. The staff was friendly and very attentive. No issues with hot water. They even had an adorable alpaca greet us at check in. Pretty good when the hotel comes with a petting zoo.
It was very relaxing and peaceful, the room was also very beautiful. Everything was clean and we had no problem with the shower, we always had warm water.
The mattress can be electrically warmed up.
The kitchen was fantastic, very well equipped, it was really nice to cook there everyday.
Pisac is 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes with tuk tuk (3 soles) away.
There was a lovely comedor, sitting room and jardin. The location is brilliant, on Pisac's main street, right by the local market and super easy to simply walk back into the village's charming sidestreets. The dueña was very attentive, supplying us with hot water for drinking and making sure we were very well taken care of. Fabulous place, I'd stay here again!
An absolutely beautiful little house about 35mins walk from Pisac. Gabriel, the owner, is super lovely and communicative. Had a bit of trouble finding it since the GPS coordinates led us elsewhere on Goigle Maps, but he videoed with us and helped us up the correct hill. A truly beautiful, comfortable place with fantastic sunset views.
Beautiful apartment in the center of Pisac with fabulous views of the surrounding valley and mountains 😍 2 bathrooms (with hot water), 2 bedrooms, a well equipped modern kitchen and a private balcony on the third floor 🥰 Safe to say we loved our stay and will not look anywhere else if we return to Pisac in the future!
The sole staff member was very good in running the lodge. The rooms facilities were above average. WiFi was very good as was the breakfast served in a dining area.. Dinner involved driving less than 10mins to ther town centre. Location is good being on the only route to the extensive terracing and fortress.
This is a great place to stay in Pisac. All the people working there are very friendly and professional, the hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great, it is quiet although close to the center, and value for money is really excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Ivan is amazing. Beautiful place in the mountains of Pisac. Rustic place with all the facilities and Ivan offers food every day. Perfect place to wind down from busy Cusco. About 15 minutes outside of the town.
Very clean and comfortable space. Staff were very helpful with all my questions or requests, including storing my bag while I visited the Pisac ruins. I would definitely stay here again!
The people of the hotel are extremely nice and caring. The breakfast is amazing!!! And the baby Alpaca too cute! He came to say hello everytime you came in
Everything, just look at the view from the hotel! It was clean comfy, staff was nice and helpful with questions about town and finding a bus when leaving.
