This is a stunning location. We had a fantastic room overlooking both valleys which was breathtaking.

the location is fantastic with uninterrupted fjord views even when a cruise ship is in Flam. Great food in the restaurant for dinner. We liked the living area with a balcony, really nice and the board walk for an easy and very pleasant walk to Flam is great.

Parking right in front of the hotel. The room was amazing and we even got upgraded to a room with balcony which was lovely. The staff was very nice and polite. Despite the dinner menu not having many options the venison burger was phenomenal, and the included breakfast had plenty of options too. The bed were comfy and shower amazing, both shampoo/shower gel and conditioner were available.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

In general, the 'Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri' is a quite good hotel that largely met our expectations. What we liked most: + The hotel is well located, directly at the Aurlandsfjord. A big supermarket, a few shops and a very nice bakery are just around the corner. Beautiful places like Flåm, Undredal or the Stegastein can be reached within 10 - 20 min (by car). + The room was pretty big, the shower aswell and the beds quite comfortable + The staff was nice and helpful.
