The hotel is called Palazzo Pascal Luxury Experience and it is all about luxury. Our room was beautiful and clean. The terrace was amazing and we were given a complimentary bottle of bubbles to enjoy on the terrace. We loved our bath tubes and slippers and the lovely quality toiletries. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property located on the side of a mountain with a lovely view over the valley, Ravello and the Mediterranean sea. The breakfast terrace was very enjoyable, and we also had the swimming pool to ourselves. Very conveniently located as we could wall to Amalfi (45min) and Ravello (25min). The staff was also extremely helpful as I forgot my wedding ring in the hotel and got it shipped back to me hassle free.
Boasting garden views, Palazzo San Giovanni Amalfi Coast provides accommodation with balcony, around 1.7 km from Marina Grande Beach.

Perfect location with stunning natural surroundings. Slightly remote but worth it. It's a tranquil haven there with authentic Amalfi charm. Absolutely wonderful.Clean and tidy property. Impressed by the hospitality of the staff.
If you happen to visit the place try The Ulivi and Antico Borgo restaurants😉

Our experience at L’Antico Episcopio was amazing. The owner, Katia is an amazing human being and she explained everything to us, from the bus intinerary to how to get by foot anywhere we needed, she was very kind and ready to help everytime. The location is in Pontone, a beautiful city above the Amalfi coast. Our room had an amazing seaside view. The room was perfectly cleaned, we had everything we needed and it was really nice to stay there. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. It is the perfect location if you are travelling all day around and you don’t need to go to the often ( it’s 1,5km by walk from Amalfi but only stairs, and the buses come in 1-3 hours, depending on the day/period).
Featuring pool views and pool with a view, Admiring Amalfi provides accommodation attractively located in Scala, within a short distance of Marina Grande Beach, Duomo di Ravello and Villa Rufolo.
Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit.
Scala is lovely and Ravello walkable If you are fit. The bus service to Amalfi and Ravello could be a little erratic. Having a car is more of a hinderance than a help. Restaurants and cafes are available. San Lorenzo Cathedral is worth a visit. They still use mules to deliver goods etc in the village. A very quaint town

There is only 1 restaurant and a pizzaria in the village. The shops are very basic but you should be able to get most things if you self-cater. It is easy to get to Ravello by bus (tickets must be purchased in advance from the "card shop"). Ideally you need your own transport as the terrain is very hilly. It is expensive to get to and from the airport by taxi.

Great little town, quite and off the busy Amalfi coast towns with a nice view. Having a car really helped. There was a great restaurant within a 20 minute walk of our B&B. You need to be in good shape to walk around, as very hilly.

Scala is quiet, authentic and charming, with beautiful views of Ravello and the Amalfi coast everywhere you go. There are a few decent café and restaurant options, mostly in the town center. This is a steep mountain village so having a car to go up and down the switchback slopes is highly recommended. Finding parking in the small town center was never an issue, not even in the middle of July.

Scala is a small, unspoilt town with several bars and restaurants on the main road. Further restaurants are dotted through the town, Zio Peppe was a great find up in the hills and Il Pinguino serve great food. Da Pietro snack bar in the town square has great views across the gorge and serves the best Aperol spritz.
If you want to explore further there is a great picnic area at Parco Paradiso, hidden high up in the hills, where you can bring your own food to cook on wood burning grills and pizza ovens with nothing but the sound of nature.
There is a regular bus service to Ravello and Amalfi and also a walking route down to Amalfi.
Parking spaces marked with blue are pay-parking.

Higher up the hill.
Higher up the hill. Little village with view at Ravello and the Amalfi Coast, enjoy living between the locals. Just at walking distance you find Restaurants serve local dishes. We eat at Ristorante Il Pinguino, delicious dishes and pizza. In the morning we took the dog for a walk and met the donkeys in the narrow alleys op hill where you find a beautiful view over the coastline.
1. Room - we were given room with a view to Ravello. Needless to say it is beautiful. Room also had terrace with its own options.
2. Breakfast - each food served was tasty and there were a lot of options to choose from. We had an option to eat in the room.
3. Location - even though hotel is located up the hill from Amalfi, it is a great as it provides with peace and quite compared to the costal city of Amalfi and you now have an option to explore Ravello.
4. Parking spots
5. Personel - communicable, thoughtfull. Needs its own rating.
The only challenge I can see is one of transportation because it is quite a ways up in scala, but that is what makes it beautiful and restful in the wonderful place to be. We had rented a car, so we could get around even in the tight quarters of Amalfi! Look
It was great to be out away from the busyness that we found in Revelo and Amalfi. The staff at Revelo view were beyond expectation, courteous, kind, thoughtful, friendly, helpful just wonderful people. Food was great and the view well so it’s called Rivella view.
The lady running the accommodation was very helpful and welcoming.
The hotel itself was situated in a lovely quaint area within walking distance of nice restaurants and a popular wedding venue in Ravello. The room had a large balcony with an exceptional view of the hills and sea, while avoiding the touristy chaos of Amalfi.
While I normally pick a more modern style of accommodation, the wooden beams and traditional bathroom suited the general feel of the area and created an authentic ambience.
The staff were very welcoming and knowledgable. They helped us understand the bus schedule and provided tips for booking ferries to nearby locations. The views from our balcony and the pool/dining area were truly unbeatable. Scala is a lovely town and felt like a private retreat. The hotel was quiet, the breakfast selection was good, and our balcony was massive. The bus station is also a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the hotel.
The location was amazing with great views to Ravello and the ocean and good access to Amalfi. Scala is a lovely little town to visit too, 5 mins walk up some steps. Lovely private outdoor space as well with our villa. The accommodation was spacious and spotless and ours had cooking facilities. There is a lovely pool looking out across to Ravello. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely enjoy staying again.
Stay longer!
Pina, the owner or manager, was wonderful. She told us which bus to take, provided an item that we were in need of, and went out of her way for us.
The location, the view, was incredible. We should have booked a couple more nights there.
There is a bus stop right there but the bus doesn't stop there often. Not a problem. A 10 to 15 minute walk takes you to Scala which has much more frequent buses.
Luigi was very solicitous and had great suggestions for restaurants and cafes. The Scala location was gorgeous and the room was tastefully decorated. I loved the terrace overlooking Ravello and spent time there. My husband was thrilled that there was a washing machine and he could leave Scala with clean clothes. The room was equipped with a stove and I could make tea.
I loved how non-touristic Scala was.
The location and views were beautiful. the house is spacious, clean, and had everything. it is a quick walk into the heart of Ravello and to Scala. the property has a beautiful view of Ravello, is a minute to the bus ( for transportation to Amalfi/ other towns). the gardens were gorgeous with lemon/lime/orange trees. A great breakfast spread with fresh fruit/yogurt/cereals is laid out as well :):)
The hotel was stunning, the view was incredible and the photos don’t do it justice. The pool was lovely and so clean, and the rooms were so spacious and really beautifully done. It was a piece of paradise, so calm and relaxing. Antonio and his family were also amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I can’t recommend it enough!
The staff was SUPER welcoming and sweet, showed us around the hotel and gave good tips about the area. They also put a cute message in the room congratulating us with our wedding. :) The view on Ravello was spectacular. They have an option for breakfast to be delivered to the room, which was delicious. The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel restaurant was also great.
The owners were amazing. They were tentative and friendly making us feel very welcome. Neither of us spoke the same language but we managed just fine.
It is incredible value for money and the pool made it all worth while. The decor is dated in some areas but in others it adds to the charm of the quaint Italian hotel.
The food was very good at both breakfast and lunch.
It was an amazing location but be aware the hotel might have extra guests or evening events. Very nice and calm, not a lot of tourists during our stay in May and easy access to the pool, breakfast and excellent dinners. Very touristy places like Ravello and Amalfi. There were extra pool towels. The host had many great suggestions for what we had planned during our stay.
The owner was very sweet to pick me up from Amalfi since he knew I was pregnant and had heavy stuff, really well concerning. Breakfast was amazing, the only thing in general, in Amalfi, Ravello e Scala is there is barely public transport, so be aware to arrange a taxi and also be aware you will pay around €50,- to go from amalfi to scala.
The best place in all of Scala. Spectacular breathtaking view. Very clean home. Absolutely beautiful !!
The host was very friendly and accommodating. Benny was always available to answer any questions and to give us advice on restaurants and points of interest. They also helped us carry our luggage to and from our vehicle.
Beautiful villa overlooking Amalfi. We rented a scooter and we just 20 minutes away from the busy Amalfi centre yet far enough to enjoy peace after long days of touring. Staff was amazing and the layout of the villa is stunning! My favorite part of our 4 country, 6 hotel honeymoon!
The staff are really friendly and welcoming, the food at the restaurant is outstanding! Views and location both great, Scala is a quiet town with some fantastic family run restaurants but there is also a local bus the runs roughly every 30 mins to Ravello and Amalfi.
Clean rooms, very nice service. Hotel owner Katya is very very helpful. Quite place, magnificent view and delicious breakfast with fascinating view. Freshly baked cakes , pies daily !
Owner also organized parking.
Very big room with a BEAUTIFUL vue on the Coast 🤩 the host was very friendly and the room was comfy. The bathroom was great as well !
Next to the hotel there is a restaurant with an incredible view as well !
The apartment was very clean, spacious & new with great views. Valentina was a delight to chat with. She was also very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Scala and Ravello.
It was amazing! We didn't expect that - With a beautiful view on Scala and Ravello - We felt in heaven! We will def recommend this place. It was CLEAN, staff were lovely. We wish we booked more days.
