The hotel is located a short walk from the train station and also close to the historic city centre. While it feels like the hotel is getting a little old and worn, the room was still very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the rooftop terrace the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink with a view.

We have been to Arezzo a few times now and it is just wonderful! A stunning little medieval town that doesn’t get too many visitors. Buzzing at night, and lovely, cobblestoned clean streets during the day. A super treat if you’re there during Saracino festival times in June/July or September - look it up, it’s very well worth the visit!

There is an antiques fair in the city the first weekend of each month -- best to avoid Arezzo during those weekends as it's very crowded. Also best to drive there because trains go there but taxis can be hard to come by. It's a beautiful small city and if you stay in the old part of town you can walk to anyplace you want to see. The highlight is unquestionably the Piero della Francesca frescoes in the San Francesco church (reservation needed). At night many of the side streets seem deserted but I never actually felt unsafe. On the other hand you can get into any restaurant you want and the major piazzas have a festive feel in the evening. I was there for 1 1/2 days, including a side trip to San Sepolchro, and I was satisfied with my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed walking around such a historic city that was also so peaceful. If you are interested in art and history, then it is a fabulous destination. We had a great meal at L'Aganaia, a very relaxed restaurant with delicious cooking, obviously a favourite with locals
If you are driving to Arezzo, La Ghirlanda B&B is the best place to be as it has a great car park and is close enough to Arezzo. Massimo and his family are very friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Massimo's wife for the beautiful roses. They also provided us with very useful information for visiting Arezzo. The garden is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious and rich. The room is clean, comfortable and cozy. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended when you want to stay in Arezzo.
The hotel is close to Arezzo - 14 minutes' drive - which was our first requirement. The pool was lovely: even when there were lots of people around the pool, it didn't feel crowded. The staff, especially Cristina, was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel one night: really delicious. The hotel was very clean, and the three resident cats were friendly towards the guests if not towards each other!
It is a lovely house in the old part of Arezzo. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is large and even has a dishwasher and I like the fact that it is a split level house. So you sleep on a different level then you cook and live. Just to mention, it is an open concept, so you can't close the door to the bedroom. Parking is very convenient, just in front of the house.
Valentino and Fernando are amazing! They upgraded us for free after we wrote to them that we were on a honeymoon and the service was just fantastic. The room was of a high standard, large and very clean. Breakfast was heavenly, organically healthy and the best we ate in Italy. The terrace is lovely and the location is a few minutes walk from the center. No doubt we would like to go back there.
A beautiful property in an incredible setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The property has recently been lovingly restored into a perfect small bed and breakfast hotel. We also enjoyed an excellent lunch on their terrace. There is a great choice of restaurants in nearby Arezzo but a car is needed.
A nice quiet, conveniently located hotel. The location was ideal - a very short walk (5-7 minutes!) to the train station! There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. Lots of restaurant options nearby too. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Spacious room.
The staff was friendly, especially the bellhops. On point!
casa volpi is a great stay for those road-tripping in Tuscany. It is a very comfortable, family-run location. There’s also a good restaurant, so you can choose to dine in at the Hotel, which is very convenient.
large, clean, comfortable rooms, good wifi, elevator, beautiful view of Arezzo, good breakfast
Fabio is an excellent host. The room was a wonderfully themed chocolate arrangement. The old city of Arezzo is beautiful. Secure Parking for a small fee. Local knowledge & map imparted. Thank you for the bottle of wine and access to the rooftop terrace. A pleasant stay with a gracious host.
We kind of liked everything, good value for money. The room was clean, comfortable, you got everything you need for a satisfactory stay. Parking is available for free in front of the hotel. Location is good, I think you could even walk to Arezzo if you wanted.
Amazing! Fresh fruit and pastries every day! Delicioso! And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ate dinner here twice and it was some of the best food in Italy! Great wines made right on the premises.
It was perfect for the time we spent in Arezzo. Easy to walk to the Antique's fair and Christmas market.
Parking was easy. Location prime. The hosts were friendly. Loved the old building and its charm.
The staff are excellent & personable. The food is excellent. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. The game room is a great place to lounge. The pool is relaxing. Overall, great hotel to stay at.
Beautiful and charming hotel in Arezzo!! Every detail was taken care of with the best of Italian hospitality. Highly recommend! Don’t miss the rooftop garden for a glass of wine watching the sunset.
A very bright and functional apartment. The location is excellent: parking on the property, a 15 min. walk to the center of Arezzo , a trattoria across the street and a supermarket down the street.
The best location to visit Arezzo. The hotel is literally in the main square. Our room was big and cool thanks to the thick old walls. The check-in was easy and the staff was super kind.
Spacious clean rooms, helpful staff and excellent dinner at restaurant - 4+ stars for this. The Hotel is very stylish and well worth a stay if rest and relaxation is required.
It was a three floor apartment located only 100 meters from the main square of Arezzo. The apartment was sparkling clean and the communication with the owner was great.
