Tea Nest - Annexe Resort in Coonoor is a place of solitude and charm, a 2 room bungalow amidst the Singara Tea Estate. A must-stay location who wants to stay in the lap of nature. Situated in a private road, you can only hear the numerous birds chirping. One can also enjoy an out-of-world sunrise on the valley overlooking Mettupalayam.
Tastefully decorated, nice food, excellent wifi. Traveled with a young kid & was never bored. One can get private chef (kind of, as there are just 2 rooms in the Annexe facility), parking facilities available. Will come back again!

The property indeed reminded of Kashmiri heritage. The interiors and furnishings were authentic. Rooms were spacious, neat and clean. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Shout out to Mithun (chef), Shambu and Shahid who took good care and made the trip memorable.

They have messaged us prior with the location and type of room etc. property is little outside of main coonoor town. But near by town.
Swiggy is reachable if you want the food from outside ( if you want dinner here , you have to inform prior) food is too good. The dishes made with love by aunty (owner) and the taste is too good. Something local which you have not eaten outside. I would definitely love to know the name of dosa aunty prepared when kavya kodancha stayed here. I booked this hotel for my client and all these reviews are based on what they said.
Main point - this place is exceptionally clean!! They take out your bedsheets immediately after check out. Slippers provided for bathroom wear. Everything is so clean (bathroom, sink, room etc)

Coonoor is an awesome hilly town. Nature is at its best here. But many areas of the town are littered and not maintained clean. When will our people develop some civic sense and cleanliness and environmental awareness.

Only 2-3 place to see, very nice restaurants where you get south and north indian dishes esp Coonoor Junction was superb. Better to take your own Car to move around. Not to venture out at night time since there are no street lights.

The scenery around the location , room rent, room size and food are the main reasons we revisited the property the second time.
The approach road to this property can be tricky for some - if you can ignore this , I recommend all to go for it. if you're looking to spend quiet tranquil time, with a tea estate view. and great food.
I travelled alone and was skeptical in the beginning. But once I booked and shared that I was traveling alone and needed some help with the resources, the owner Srinivas garu shared all the info and made sure I landed correctly in the place. In fact the day I was reaching the place, it rained heavily and he sent me a message to keep him updated till I reached the place. Breathtaking views from my room, out of the way hospitality from the owners and wonderful caretakers and delicious food made my trip heavenly.
I am from London and stayed for 2 nights.
The property was lovely - very clean with breath taking views!
The cook, Keshab that provides all meals is very talented and the food was absolutely delicious.
Mukund, the host was extremely helpful and kind and always willing to offer support or guidance on things to do in the area.
This place is a MUST stay if you're coming to Coonoor and looking for a peaceful getaway! Hoping to one day come back and visit again!
Excellent location. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was amazing and very accomodative.Self ,my wife and daughter had a memorable stay for 2N and 3D. A special mention of Alok, who played an excellent host and made us feel at home.Delicious home cooked food and snacks was an icing on the cake. Not to forget, but thank Alok for organizing the Coonoor Filter Coffee Powder as requested.
Great location, rolling green hills, easy access to most of the spots, at the same time secluded enough to have no disturbances. Food was great, the staff were extra helpful in giving us what we wanted. One area of improvement - On booking cabs through Teanest, they have to ensure that there is visibility as to the time of arrival etc. Giving the contact of the driver can be a good option.
The view from the property is amazing. Extremely calm, we could hear beautiful bird noises. It was very soothing. The rooms have a big window facing the mountain, so, can enjoy a very good view right from the room. Outside is also very good and they add good lighting at night. Good for a couple and actually even better for a group when you book multiple rooms, can chill outside.
I loved my stay over here. It's a very cozy old house which has been remodelled. The property is clean and maintained really well and feels like home. The host Aparna was friendly, welcoming and makes us feel at home. One can relax on the lawn all day. The Auto charges about Rs. 150 - Rs. 200 to get to this place from the Coonoor bus stand or railway station but it is worth it.
The quality of food was par excellence. Authentic South Indian cuisine for a North Indian starved of this stuff was a gastronomic delight. Had a great time. Cab for local sightseeing was arranged at a fairly good fare by Mr Venkatesan, the Caretaker. Being an off season perhaps, the occupancy was low which in itself was a blessing as far we were concerned
Staff is very welcoming and hospitable; clean, comfortable and spacious facilities; great location (has great cafes and supermarket nearby + close to city center); most definitely worth the price; beautiful view from the room!!
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Coonoor
Homely ambience, customer friendly service and very cooperative Host. Good chef, tasty snacks and food available. A well maintained garden gives a touch of class. Local sightseeing options arranged by the hotel. A place for relaxation and Meditation.

Amazing place to stay in Coonoor. You can see the tea garden from your valley view rooms and that is the USP. Great staff, very courteous and simple yet very nice food.
