The staff were awesome.
We also enjoyed our meals there.

Room was really comfortable. Used the gym a few times as it had great equipment. Staff were really friendly and always will to help.

I was here for 2 nights. I upgraded my stay to a single room which was very clean. The maintenance is on-going and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is basic and included.
I am thankful for the extra help with my luggage. They really care about their guests.

We enjoyed old-fashioned, warm hospitality at this clean, comfortable and well-run B&B. A top-class breakfast - one to put far more expensive hotels to shame - to set us up for the day and a welcoming cuppa with good conversation on our return in the evening to help us wind down made this one of our best holidays. It's a 5-min walk to the bus stop, where you can get a D4 or D5 to Drogheda town centre or bus station (takes about 5 min) or the bus to Dublin (1 hour) and a 10-min walk to the train station. There's a pub and shop by the bus stop.

A nice seaside village with one main street and one hotel which has a bar and accommodation. The beach is picturesque, safe and lovely for long walks. It is so flat that they run horse races along it a couple of times per year.

Bettystown has a lovely beach - it is a quiet location which is convenient to Drogheda and a lot of other local attractions. The village itself is a bit tired with a lot of places closed. There are a few coffee shops. It could really do with a bit of a facelift to bring it more up-to-date and to attract more visitors.

Sure we were there mid-week (end of June) but it seemed a bit sleepy. The weather was lovely - sunny and warm. Our food & stay at Reddan's was great. Would highly recommend. The man working at the Funtasia casino booth seemed like we were bothering him to ask 1 question or to get change. So we didn't stay. There were about 6 or 7 ppl in the place. You would think he would try to be more pleasant & not discourage the few customers he had. I was the only person in the area where the tipping point games are, with occasionally a few young teens running about. If your looking for a quiet get-a-way this is it. I think the kids would love the games area.

Bettystown has a long stretch of beach which is easily accessible to walkers or people who have mobility issues, so it is really inclusive of all ages. You can even park your car on it and admire the sea view.
