The flat had a small kitchen which was great for saving food costs. The location is also right next to the metro that easily gets you to the the city center and is a 20 minute walk from the Expo if you are there for a convention or event. Lots of lovely local cafes - everyone was really friendly and supermarket options are about a 5-10 minute walk away.

Vanves is beautiful, quiet and a very calming area. Everything is within walking distance and there are plenty of cafes, boulangeries and shops which have everything you may need for a stay, long or short! There are also some parks nearby, and the entire area is full of beautiful, traditional houses.

Didn't see much of Vanves as we only had 1 full day to explore Paris. Train to Paris Centre was very easy (about 25 minutes), although you could get confused following the different train signage.

Breakfast was also nice, coffee, croissants and different jams. The owner was very lovely, and accommodating to our family and needs. Very flexible with all our requests and she gave us great tips for restaurants and public transport. We had nice chats in the mornings at breakfast time! During check-in, I was greeted by Miriam who was wonderful and very welcoming. A sweetheart! The rest of the staff was professional and helpful as well. The room was clean with a nice kitchen and a fridge, perfect size for one guest, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with a towel radiator.

The location is just a few blocks from the metro with about 30 min ride to most attractions. A good variety of restaurants around, a grocery store behind the building and gas station nearby. A small kitchenette with fridge and free coffee/cappuccino/mineral water in the lobby area for residents which saved us quite a lot for breakfasts. There grocery and also there is a very nice park at the near neigborhood. Also the appartment is equipped with all what may need, stove, wine glassses, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, cooking pots and pan. I was alone, but it's enough for 2-3 people.

Very quiet neighbourhood which was wonderful after having spent all days in busy, crowded and noisy Paris. Metro station and bus stops nearby so you can easily reach the centre of Paris, though it takes time. A supermarket and food places within walking distance.
