We absolutely enjoyed our stay there.
The house is a relative new-build, wood and stone, modern architecture, with very good sound insulation. The owners have a keen eye for design and quality, and it is felt all around: colour themed room interior, including bed linens, small but exceptionally nice bathroom, decors, terrace, the garden... The property is placed on the very shore of the Seine, one can walk along it and marvel at the natural beauty before (or after) visiting the garden of Claude Monet.
The owners speak very good English and will gladly recommend activities in the area. We used their help to book a dinner at the "Crêperie Fleur de Seine à Vernon".
Thanks, Caroline and Richard!

It was a bad experience. Our bill was messed up but has now been rectified. Bedrooms smelt of smoking.

The breakfast was very good. The studio unit was very spacious, but did not look like any of the pictures that I had seen online.
The unique stately setting and beautiful interior together...
The unique stately setting and beautiful interior together with Paul’s attentiveness and kindness made this a lovely stay for our visit to Les Andelys and the Chateau de Gaillard. We had a comfortable room and the breakfasts were generous and delicious. We were able to park safely near the house in its peaceful parkland setting. Thank you Paul and Marie for a fabulous stay. We will come again. Gill and Trevor.

This is a quiet location - great if you want to get away from it all but within reasonably easy reach of Vernon and Monet's Garden, both of which we recommend.
Monet's Garden is beautiful and atmospheric-even with all the other visitors. Highly recommend.
Vernon has a great little art gallery, bar overlooking the Seine and the most fabulous old buildings. Low key and well worth exploring.

This is a fantastically beautiful and intriguing property with gorgeous views of the River Seine and Normandy countryside. The breakfast is worthy of the Ritz and the property is perfectly located for exploring Monet's Giverney and making day trips to Paris. The hosts are a most charming couple and I felt like I was residing within the pages of a French history book, while having all modern conveniences including fast wifi.
