Lovely top floor apartment, very comfortable and quiet at night. Everything we needed to cook an evening meal. Garage for bikes if required - we even squeezed our Tuk Tuk in there!

The apartment was on a smallholding with growing veg, a pond and a friendly family. Rostrenen was a great small town. Recommend the Pizza just up from the Irish Pub, and the great bike shop opposite!

Great hosts who speak both French and English. The room is warm, comfortable and very clean, as is the bathroom. The staircase leading to the bedroom is manageable (my mum is 82, and still climbed it without problem). A very touching gesture from our hosts was the lending of a book to my mum containing photos of people in St Nicolas, as my mum's family is from the town. As it so happens we found it at the school museum in Bothoa. Genuinely warm hosts. Would highly recommend.
