Generously sized family room. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Very easy to find off the motorway. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, set around a pretty pebbled courtyard. Breakfast was standard, but filled a hole. Reception area was stylish, and tastefully decorated, but sadly only saw it at the time of check-out as the common areas and restaurant are closed on a Sunday. So we didn’t receive the full hotel experience. However, communication re self check-in was very clear and easy to follow.
The room was much larger than I had expected, which was fantastic. Well laid out with plenty of space for suitcases, etc. The bed was a great size, and very comfortable. Extra bedding and pillows were available. Loved that there was a bathtub, especially as the weather was freezing and we had a long drive prior to arrival. Staff were friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty. We enjoyed breakfast as well.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable.
Communication was very helpful with regards to our dogs visit prior to our arrival.
The location is perfect for a motorway stopover, you would never realise just how close & accessible the hotel is, as it is peaceful location.
The restaurant served wonderful fresh delicious food.
Breakfast provided a good selection of buffet foods and refreshments.
The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful! Nicolas also arranged an amazing champagne dégustation for us with a grand cru producer otherwise unknown to us (Simon Michelot) - amazing stuff. The town of Matougues is rather sleepy, but you're close to the Côte des Blancs and so many other great places. A car is practically necessary though. Nicholas's tip sheet is excellent...
The rooms were clean, but need an upgrade. The breakfast was a self service buffet with hot & cold food - good choice
The restaurant was good & accommodating for a 60th birthday
The hotel was located just off the motorway after a long drive from Calais
We will definitely go back as the staff were very friendly and supportive
very nice to stay at an independent French hotel and really convenient for 1 night on our way down to the south of France. Extremely comfortable with everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff. we also had an evening meal in the busy restaurant which was nice and good value. Buffet breakfast also good.
Comfortable, clean, spacious, very presentable. Good breakfast.
I arrived on a Sunday, the day on which the hotel restaurant is closed. In my room there was a list of local restaurants, in three nearby towns, which was very useful. The restaurant I chose was very good, exactly what I was looking for.
The hotel was adorable and a fantastic value for the money. We stayed in a family suite and the children loved that their rooms were in an upstairs room with separate twin beds. the reception and staff were very accommodating.
As usual, great rooms, friendly staff, brilliant food, Boulangerie next door to get croissants and coffee if you don’t want a full hotel breakfast. .Pool perfect after a long drive and warm even end of May.
