I loved everything about this hotel: the safe location next to the castle, close to restaurants and shops, comfy bed and pillows, hot shower, but most especially the amazing service. Doriane was not only helpful in terms of a friendly receptionist; she went above and beyond to help me search and book bus and train tickets, look into my next destination, recommend restaurants and things to see in Dinan and more. Thank you Doriane! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants. The hotel offers all you would expect from a Mercure hotel which we have always considered a reliable brand. Its set in a very nice area and there are numerous restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
